One interesting side effect to one woman getting huge breast implants is the sudden willingness for non-native German speakers to put a little time and effort into speaking German. I don't think I've ever seen a post generate so many non-English responses before. At least here on the BEA. This is probably self-evident, but I think we've discovered a way to motivate language students to do better in class. [ObTangent: Got a degree in German, did a couple of student exchange programmes back in the day, married a German (born and raised). I've even got fond memories of checking out a porn shop in Munich (near Marienplatz, I think). Alas, my German is now rustier than iron filings soaking in brine.] ObGerman: Wunderbar! |
