Derf79 that are some great "Jealousy Comebacks"!!!  I expected there would be more creative souls on this forum to help Antoinette out with some "kill them with kindness" remarks, so we could ad some 'value' to this thread to help Antoinette out in the tough world of jealous people..... I also get a bit worried if Antoinette is not posting for a while, but the historie shows that if she is very busy and happy she won't post for a while.... So lets hope she is doing well and make some nice posts, so she will have something to read when she returns and don't wait till Antoinette post a new pic.... She added so much 'value' to this thread already....   So keep on posting to this thread..... Antoinette e-mailed me about a month ago to update me on this. Since the cat is now out of the bag, I'll share why she hasn't mentioned it here yet.
She's enjoyed the support from the BEA in the past, but she's concerned that any news of her downsizing will be met with howls of protest (my words, not hers). I suggested to her that while there might be some douches who will make snide remarks, many will gladly support her in her quest for happiness.
I'm sure that many here (especially the mods) are painfully aware of how various women in the past have decided not to frequent the BEA due to boorish male behaviour. Assuming she does decide to post here again, be advised that any whinging about her downsizing will likely be met with her leaving for friendlier pastures. |

Truly this is completely understandable, both her decision to downsize and her decision not to post news of it here.
She's making a very good choice, and as long as she's healthy and happy, I am completely supportive (in whatever small way one can be on an internet forum dedicated to boobs).

I know I've always been one of her fans and continuously praised how incredible she looks... but if she's in pain all the time, and going smaller is the best option, then I, and the rest of us, can only be supportive I hope she does stop by one more time so we can wish her good luck personally And that 'cc' stuff sounds awful, what is she refering to? |

The 'CC' reference is "capsular contracture".
Ordinarily the body forms a modest scar capsule around the implant. Sometimes the body overdoes it, and the capsule gets quite thick. This results in the implant taking on a 'hard' appearance (the orange-in-a-sock look) and a hard feel. The greater the CC, the greater the probability that it'll end up painful.
This can be remediated surgically, even without going to a smaller implant. It's not a guarantee that it won't come back, though.
Capsular contracture is an interesting study unto itself. No woman wants to experience it (at least the more aggressive forms of it), and efforts are made to better understand the causes. The following have been created as a result:
- textured shell implants (to ward off CC, as the scar seems to be more aggressive with smooth shells)
- going under the muscle instead of over
- being very aggressive with sterilizing the surgical site and the outside of the implant, such as liberally swabbing the site and bathing the implants in a Betadine solution; there's a Dallas area surgeon who even came up with the idea of adding 10% Betadine to saline implants for this reason

Thank you SO much for the support you guys!!! It really means the world to me. MDF is right...I have been avoiding posting about my downsizing because I hate to let anyone down. But I still love BEA though! I'm still a fan of huge boobs most definitely, it's just a bit too stressful having huge boobs for myself and having a family to think about. I think if I was by myself and I only had me to worry about, then I probably wouldn't be downsizing too much...but there's way too much drama that goes on day in and day out...too much shit with little ones to think about. It's just CRAZY attention that I get - too much. I will still get a lot of attention with 1200-1500cc, but I really don't want any smaller than that because I still want to keep the round, busty, fake look....I'm pretty sure I wont get the ridiculous attention that I get now with my 2020cc. All of my friends keep telling me that I will be miserable if I go all the way down to 800cc....I probably will be. Ideally it would be nice to be able to get 1200-1500cc custom silicone gels but that's just not possible now. So I have no choice but to get the 800's (because I want to switch to silicone for sure) and then get the customs after that. So anyway, again THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!! And I'm not gone for good, I'll still post definitely, you guys are awesome ! In a world that seems to hate huge boobs (well a lot of people seem to hate them), it's a breath of fresh air coming on here and meeting other people who LOVE huge boobs! |
