It's an unfortunate nickname for an older woman going out with a younger guy (as if that needs to be justified, hmph!), but with the whole <b>Demi Moore-Ashton Kutcher</b> thing, and the whole <i>Age of Love</i> thing and more recently <b>Linda Hogan</b> and her 19-year-old man thing, cougars and their cubs are in the news more than ever these days... Titanic Toni's put on a few pounds (and not pounds sterling). Regardless, I'll always have a fond place in my heart (or elsewhere ) for her surly expressions of disinterest as some bloke poked and prodded her in that earlier hardcore stuff she did.

Another quite epic 'cougar' by any measure.
Though let me say that while I don't personally object to the term, it's use is hardly consistent... to some of our young3r forumites, any gal past 28 automatically falls into the 'MILF' category for merely having the temerity to approach the ripe old age of 30... and qualify for 'cougar' less than a decade later!  So, it's not exactly a standardized measure of things... heck, to me this woman is in her prime and from the looks of her, she's likely to remain sexually desirable for years to come.
So imagine it... you're away on business... more time wasted in meetings where people you don't know talk and talk just to hear their own voices and justify their salaries. Afterwards, you hop into your rentacar and return to the hotel... say, the Biltmore in Phoenix. Washing the stress of the day and the heat of the city off of you in the shower, you then change and head down to the lounge for a couple of margaritas. The Gods apparently owe you for some good karma, because you bump into this vision of feminine pulchritude and a couple couple of drinks later, THIS is what you see sitting on the bed upstairs in your room that evening. If only!

My understanding of what the term "cougar" meant was it referred to an attractive older single or divorced woman who "stalked" young guys for the purpose of bedding them for a night or two. And beyond those sexual romps a cougar has little desire to engage in a longer relationship with her "prey". So the quintessential cougar which has ever been depicted must be Kim Crattral's character Samantha Jones from Sex and the City who once quipped regarding all the sexual partners she had, " Fuck me badly once, shame on you. Fuck me badly twice, shame on me." Now beyond that I have to say Z unless I'm missing something in that last pic you posted, it seems to me the subjects shown are the total opposite of a lady cougar with her cub.   |
