EDISON, N.J., Sept 08, 2008 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Victory Tradeshow Management is proud to announce that EXXXOTICA NY show will go on as planned at a bigger and better venue, the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center located at the Raritan Center in Edison, NJ, this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, September 12-14.
EXXXOTICA NY, presented by HotMovies, has been making headlines due to opposition for various reasons from officials in its original location in Secaucus, NJ. Rather than face a postponement or various rules set forth, organizers decided to dictate how the show would transpire and at great expense, moved the show to its new location at the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center.
"Due to an issue with the liquor license at our previous venue, we wouldn't have been able to present EXXXOTICA as we planned it. We decided to take an aggressive approach to make sure that this show happened as scheduled for the fans, our vendors and the stars. We have secured a bigger and better location for this weekend's EXXXOTICA NY show," said J. Handy, Director of Victory Tradeshow Management.
Handy added that they are currently exploring legal actions. "We 100 percent support the right to freedom of speech and expression, and we weren't willing to back down on what we planned to do, so rather than produce a compromise that fit within their ideals of what is 'lewd,' 'immoral' or 'obscene,' we decided to move the event no matter what the cost and show the officials who opposed EXXXOTICA that the show will go on as it was intended to be presented. Ticket sales are currently exploding." EXXXOTICA's show hours will remain the same, except for Sunday's schedule being adjusted to 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Highlights of the show include EXXXOTICA's massive "Fantasy Island" attraction (sponsored by Genesis Magazine) that will feature over 20 of the top adult film stars meeting fans, including Digital Playground contract stars Jesse Jane(R) and Stoya, Wicked Pictures star Stormy Daniels, Adam & Eve's Bree Olson and Kayden Kross, Vivid Girl Sunny Leone, SexZ Pictures' Hillary Scott; AVN Performer of the Year, Sasha Grey; LA Direct Models Gianna Lynn, Penny Flame, Lexxi Tyler and Audrey Bitoni; as well other top adult performers such as Teagan, Roxy DeVille, Sunny Lane, Paola Rey, Taryn Thomas, Moxxie Maddron, Arianna Armani and more. To get what most of you are probably interested in out of the way quickly: Yes, there were a lot of large breasts to be seen. But almost all of them were on the attendees, and not the guests.

No, I don't have any pictures. I don't have a digital camera.

First, I was in a bit of a bummed mood since my back was acting up all day. A bit less pain and I most likely would have enjoyed myself more.

The vendors were primarily devoted to porn sites (each proclaiming they had the hottest women, most content, and greatest variety). There was a large "shop" for sex toys and other paraphenalia, and a number of booths for models - none of which I had heard of. Lots of scantily clad hotties promoting assorted things, though. I did stop at the booths that had free drawings - laser hair removal (I H*A*T*E shaving!) and adult resorts & spas (I figure that if I win, I'll worry about the details then). I passed up a "blue light special" offer for teeth whitening; I'm not that vain. I managed to successfully avoid buying anything. I actually did win a significant discount at a Laser Hair place nearby. Depending on the total cost to me, I might go for either the full facial or just the ears (Creepy old man ear hair: bad).

For entertainment, the more interesting ones were "Strip For Pain", a strange BDSM game show, which I did not care for, and a match of the "Pillow Fight League", a gloriously silly blend of a slumber party and female wrestling. See www.gopfl.com for more.

I splurged on a VIP ticket, which got me access to the VIP  Lounge, A conference room off the main floor was turned into a poor imitation of a strip club. Big vinyl chairs, low pink lighting, and three pole stages with girls from a sponsoring strip club. I don't feel it was worth it. It was just as loud as the main floor, and the girls must have thought they were just furniture since they certainly acted and danced like it. There were air hockey and foosball tables, but no beverages. The best place in the whole show to relax was actually the short hallway between the main floor and the "VIP" Lounge. Comfy sofas, and it was *quiet*. No speakers blaring incomprehensible music at you...

For me, a good attraction were the seminars. I didn't need to worry about the ones on the business aspects of the business. The one I got the most from was sex expert Jamye Waxman's talk. Thanks to her anatomical hand puppet ("Vulveeta"), we learned all the intimate details of female anatomy. Along with fun trivia, like virtually all the nerve endings in the vagina are in the first third. Doctors can actually operate way in the back without anesthetic.... I doubt that would impress people at parties, though.

Dick and Jane were there; they're from that part of the country, and Dick was giving his "Unlearn!" talk. He's turned into quite a good public speaker, probably due to his having given his talk so often. He's gotten really comfortable with his material, even when he had to cut about half an hour for this seminar. And no, these comments were not influenced by the t-shirt It was kind of fun seeing the reactions to Jane, who had the largest breasts in the place. Everyone wanted a picture of her, and Jane (& Dick) were happy to oblige. Favorite overheard remark about Jane, from someone who couldn't believe she wasn't a model: "...yeah, she's a civilian!"

I had a pretty good time overall, and I might do it again if the opportunity arises.
