After a quick activation of a backup plan or 2 (It's a good think I always believe in planning for redundancy  ), we are off. Today is the day that we are setting out on our travels to the distant lands of California to find the fabled Lake Tahoe Clinic and the "One True Doc" who can make the larger implants happen. Soon we shall have completed the first major phase in our quest for more Boobage.  Wa, ha, ha, ha.... Oh sorry, my bad. Anyway, more news to come after she meets with Dr Foster on Monday. And thanks to all of you for your support of her as she moves forward with this quest. I know it means a lot to her that there are others out there who support what she wants to do. |

Just a quick update. Blue is out of surgery and starting to sleep off the effects of the drugs that they gave her. The surgery went well and hopefully her recovery will do so too. Dr Foster is planning on stopping off at our motel room on his way home tonight to check up on her, and then again in the morning on his way in to the office, so I would have to say that I rate his after care plan to be exceptional so far. More to follow... |

Rest and heal well. 960cc Mentor style 3000? I didn't see any 960cc shells by mentor, or in Style 3000. Are they actually 960cc shells overfilled to 1000cc? If so, does your paperwork show the actual implant spec and exact model numbers?
My wife may consider 800cc overfilled to 1200, but seems it would be less firm if it was 960cc shells overfilled to 1200cc. Any info specifics would be very helpful.
Again, hope she gets some good rest and healing.

Probably 800cc overfilled to 960cc. That's a 20% overfill and is probably the manufacturer's specification for max warranted overfill.
FWIW, I believe Dr Larry uses FDA approved implants filled to the max approved limit for the first augmentation. He probably does this to save his back in case something goes wrong (for instance if the patient's body rejects the implants, which can happen). Once the patient has had the FDA approved implants for 3 months he apparently thinks it's safe to use expanders. It all makes sense to me... |
