Glad to hear you're still alive. My uncle passed away in October after a six-year battle with cancer. He was able to celebrate his 81st at home and attend my mother's b-day in April. He was frail, but happy.

You must now have a T-shirt made that says:
You think you're tough? I KICKED CANCER'S ASS!

Today I went to see the doc who originally found my cancer. He confided that he didn't think this appointment would be taking place. For all the exams he does every year, he only sees 1 or 2 as bad as mine and he didn't expect me to survive. For some reason I not only dodged the bullet, but I'm clean. Still no sign of cancer anywhere. Add to that, he was amazed at what an unbelievable job my surgeon had done. I wasn't expected to be "put back together" (typical case = life-long colostomy), but I am... and that turned out well, too.
Most of the people I met through treatment are dead now. I can only think of one who isn't, and she's not doing well. I just kind of assumed that odds of survival are good these days. No doubt they're better, but this is still very much a life 'n death proposition.
A new lease on life. It's a bit large to process, mentally. I actually Googled "jobs in Bora Bora" today. Tonight I'm looking through the "get well" cards that accumulated over the past 2-1/2 years... and tossing them out.
I expect no further news to add to this thread. I'm just kind of... I dunno... overwhelmed tonight.
You are like the big tit fetishist version of Chuck Norris my friend.

I'm so very happy for you. Cancer took my mother's life and it was discouraging to see her decline during the ugly process. So whether through provenance, fate, luck, whatever, you have been given another chance. I recently lost a friend to bladder cancer who was a survivor of lung cancer previously and had been clean for 18 years prior to his bladder cancer. So I hate to sound negative now but I really hope the same fate doesn't befall you. Good luck and Godspeed to you Sir.

So as a majority lurker (since the mid-late nineties no less!) I've followed this thread among many. I've lost many family members to cancer, including my dad... And almost my mom too. Like you, she was not given a good prognosis. And like you, she's clean. Just like cancer's onset can't always be explained, it's disappearance can defy all odds. But it happens nonetheless and you are living, walking, breathing proof.
At any rate, although I don't know you I've prayed for you. I'm not a saint, it's just what I thought to be the right thing to do. Congratulations and may you enjoy further decades of happy, healthy life!!!!

Thank you!! I appreciate the support. I wish I could say I did something other than get lucky, but that's about it. I can't say the folks who didn't fare so well got worse treatment or anything like that. To a degree, it's a crap shoot. But well wishes are always appreciated. I do think my attitude certainly helped me cope with it all. Now I need to go out and squeeze me some big titties that wouldn't be getting squeezed if I was feeding worms...

You still have that bucket list to take care of I believe.

The bucket list probably contained the fondling of numerous boob stars. I would not put that on the backburner.
