Cut and paste from http://fan.adultentertainmentexpo.com/

Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE), the world’s hottest and largest adult tradeshow, will once again be rocking the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas, Nevada from Friday, January 8 through Sunday, January 10, 2010. The 2010 show is a must-attend, bringing you the world's largest producers of adult entertainment, a reunion of hundreds of porn stars that you can get up close and personal with, along with hundreds of companies that make adult toys and other paraphernelia displaying and demonstrating their latest sex toys and novelty items.

I'm in the military.  I'm scheduled to transfer in the beginning of January.  I'll be moving from San Diego up to Washington state.  January 8th, 9th and 10th... Hmmm... Seems very possible that I'll be making a detour on the way north.

They're advertising prices of $200 for 3-day VIP passes, or $70 1-day VIP.  And $145 for General Admission 3-day, or $50 1-day.  These prices are good until Sept 15th.

If I go, I'm getting the VIP 3-day.  Should definitely be a blast.  Anyone else plan on going?

I just bought my ticket.  There's a $3 service charge.  $203 isn't too bad.  When filling out my information, they wanted to know my title, but there wasn't much to choose from.  I choose NEWS-Photographer.  Posting the pictures on the BEA is considered news... right?

But another question.  I went to ComicCon, and it was easy to dress as a dork... lol  What should I wear to this?

Well, Just paid for the room in Vegas.  Considering I've never been to Vegas before, I had to get a nice room.  King Luv Tub Suite.  I got the room with the huge tub with room for 3.  Hopefully I can convince some women to join me back at the room.

So far, It's been $200 for the expo tickets and $350 for the 4 day hotel room.  $550....   Lol  I paid more than that for an hour with Chelsea Charms.

I'm hoping some more of you will get a chance to go.

I plan on bringing my Vacbed to Vegas with me.  And then I'll kinda lurk near the vacbed booth while I'm there.  If I spot a busty woman checking it out, maybe I can get her to try it.  Would make a great video....  Smiley

If you're staying in a Hotel on the strip, Imperial Palace was the cheapest I found.  I'm sure you could get one a lot further away for cheaper, but then you have to deal with getting there and back.

Thanks for the info Giles. I have been to the show before and I recommend comfortable shoes as you will be on your feet at the show. I would wear comfortable light clothes at the show as it does got hot with crowds but have sweater or coat available since it is January and cooler at evenings.

Every year I wish I could go.  My birthday is January 8th ironically.  My friends go every year to hang out and shoot content.
If I had the money and a job they would let me off I would go.

The AVN Awards will be on January 9th.  But I think the prices are a little high for me to attend this event as well as the AEE.

Is there any parties associated with the AVN registration/tickets?  Or is it just the convention itself?

16 days to go!!!  I'm getting psyched!  If there's anyone in the San Diego area who needs a ride to the convention, let me know.  Smiley

Be warned.  You get what you pay for with the IP.  Stayed there for a convention at the end of July this year, and was really not impressed with room quality (even despite paying a cheap rate).  I don't know what the Flamingo next door charges, but it seemed so much nicer.

You guys might want to see what The Orleans or Hooters might be charging. Also there are two Motel 6 near by and if you don't care what the room is like that might be a nice choise. You might also check out my hotel The Luxor or next door Excalibur. A brand new complex called City Center just opened and has added almost 6,000 rooms to a heavely over supplied town and even though they say it won't cannibalize from other properties they are just smoking dope for saying that. You may be able to swing a good deal with due diligence.

I don't know if this is sad or not, but I may be willing to trade a day pass to CES for 1 of my AEE... lol

I booked my room over 4 months ago.  I paid 350 bucks for 4 days.  That's pretty cheap.  I called back to make sure my reservation was still good, and I found out the price for 1 day is over 300...  Glad I booked that early.

Not up to a great start.  With all the planning, I didn't book the room on the day I would be arriving.  I'm in Vegas, and I can't check in until tomorrow.  Lol.
