As much as I hate how the story club is run, i must admit there are quite a few stories I enjoy, some of the series in particular, I liked dream girl before it took that big dark turn, along with BE Project, Mutation, and Welcome to Chastity, which brings me to my point some of these are unfinished, any word on when or if they will be continued, more specifically Welcome to Chastity since not much has really happened yet?

Interestingly, "BE Project 7," which is the final episode, is already done, only the check copy I got labelled it as number six. I wrote back to Gabe, "Wait, stop! They're out of order." I've seen the pencils for episode six, so I have every expectation the series will appear and be concluded at a certain point.

I sent three issues worth of Chastity's script in for production back in July, and another 2 a few weeks ago, so they have the scripts up through part 8. Admittedly, the plot doesn't move as fast as some people would like, but I had to steer it back on course and it took longer than expected. But I'm going to try and wrap it up. My original goal was to finish it in ten parts, but I may end up having to go into twelve depending on how things pan out.

I have every intention of finishing it. I'm too stubborn not to, so rest assured that on the very slim chance of it being canceled it won't be because of a lack of interest on my part.

thanks both very much for your replies, hopefully the story club delivers them soon, instead of stringing us along.

I know my comic T&A wasn't one of the series you listed, but the BESC also has another installment of that floating around somewhere. While I am working on my own projects separate from the BESC I've plotted out the rest of that and completely intend to finish it here. It looks as though the delay between published installments is not a unique issue to my own series, as I had considered. Misery loves company, I guess.

It's nice to know there are updates to those other lovely series pending...I look forward to reading them when I have the budget to renew my subscription again...

Well then I will say that T&A has been one of my favorites, and I anxiously await the next chapter!

Sigh...and I get to anxiously await another 15 days to see if one of my submissions posts...thus is life. Wink

The new comic sounds interesting, at least...another I look forward to reading in the future...

Unfortunately, it's quite illegal to put a gun to someone's head and get them to finish things - so, don't get your hopes up. When it comes to stories I'd like to see done, I want SRU - Dream Girl done. Just so if anyone says "when's the next part out?!" I can go "It's done." Ugh, just bring the topic up has undone a month of hard drinking.

But yes, I believe once upon a time Mr. HHH bemoaned writers releasing their works in chapter form... because inevitably, they'd end up disappearing halfway through. That's writers for you. THE BASTARDS!

Saw another addition to T&A sadly, no word on any of the series I mentioned, I keep looking back at forums and blogs to see if anything has happened with them because I got tired of paying so much money for stuff I wasn't really enjoying, especially considering the infrequent updates.

You can see the BESC's list of posted items via this link, even as a non-member.

The recent 7-part comic "The God's Labyrinth" managed to be completed within 5 months, so we know it is possible for the BESC to get multipart stories to start and end in a reasonable amount of time -- of course, I obviously don't know what the happenings are behind the scenes that caused that one to move along quickly while other stories languish.

For what it's worth, I recently helped finish one of the comic series, Unstable Assets, which is up now.

Thanks (although I don't think I'll be able to budget for a BESC subscription until after the new year).

What I'm most curious to see is how you managed to wrap things up in only one chapter. Smiley

Ah -- the description of "Unstable Assets 8" says "the completion of the 'Unstable Assets' comic." So there's going to be an "Unstable Assets 9" and an "Unstable Assets 10"? I think it should be "the continuation of the 'Unstable Assets' comic," then.

After digging out the script, there should be a part nine, which is the conclusion.  To be fair, I hadn't really looked at the script since I turned it in... was too busy writing a new script for a new comic, which I hope to see soon, and working on my non-BE fiction.

hope they release it soon Tongue Whenever I see that they released a new story thats not the next Chastity, I get a little disappointed. all these one chapter stories they release are boooring.  Cry

I know that the original comic project I did was four parts and is designed more or less with an action comic mindset (think DC or Marvel) as an introduction to the characters.  Given the nature of it, it's plausible that I could write more in the future based on the characters, but that will have to wait until it's released and rated.  I suppose it's in the works to be released, as it's been bought, but my works sometimes have a two-three month span between my finishing and publication, which is actually a pretty good turn around.

That being said, as I'm one of ones writing short stories and novella, I don't usually do sequels...  though, when "Be Wary How You Wish" has a volume two that should be released in the near future that has an opening at the end for a volume three that may be written based on user comments.

Don't forget "Girl in the machine" I loved that story, it's one of my favorites but it only made it to part one, I would have loved to find out how Taiosi got on at the football match and then what happened next, perhaps they could find the sports hall and see if she could fill it with her boobs Grin.

I too would have liked to have seen a follow up to the Mutation story, perhaps the meet the parents issue or the what happens after college issue. It would have been nice to find out how far she lets him take it and if he ever develops the ability to undo the increases he made, perhaps a shameful moment could give his libido a shunt that would allow him to decrease her boobs back to a manageable size in the end or something.

The dream girl project was an interesting "careful what you wish for" scenario but the ending did seem a little too dark for my tastes, or am I jumping the gun and there's a nice happy ending to breaking the spell that we don't know about yet? But hey that's just me, I'm sure my opinion is only one of many.

It would have been nice to see some other stories ...er... fleshed out a bit too, like the Valerie's Share and the Courvaceous Countess stories. The worlds that these stories were created in were so intriguing that I felt that at least a sequel could have been produced as they were such rich settings that the main characters could have lived beyond their existing tales.

Anyway, I hope that this thread comes across to these wonderful authors and artists as inspiration that they are doing it right and to keep going and do more, and not as us non-authors moaning about not getting enough.

Please Please Please Authors and Artists keep up the really good work, you've secured my subscription for as long as I can afford it.

Completely agree with you Macs - I love this author's stories. I was in regular contact with Prederick for quite a while, but seem to have lost contact over the past year. I hope the Club manages to get the original author back to finish/continue these wonderful works!
