Good Evening, BE

I am not sure where a post like this would go so if this is incorrectly placed, my apologies. Anyway, I am curious to learn how to create a fine BE (or warped breasts) in a video (clip). The only video editing software I currently own is Sony Vegas 10. Is that going to be enough? I have seen some other clips of people making fantastic works and I want to follow suit. If anyone can offer some guidance, I would be very grateful.

Paging Dr. Fashizzle....Dr. Fashizzle to the GDB.

He did an absolutely awesome morph of Chelsea Charms in a animated GIF. I don't know if he morphed it in vid first and it was converted but he should be able to tell you something.

Paging Mr. Ooze. He made an awesome Carmella Bing vid clip which I still stare at.

Well... Sony Vegas is actually a video editor, not a video composer. A video composer works more like a photoshop for videos. It can track features (i.e. nipples) through time, add masks, use the tracks to add effects (like bulges, just as 3DEroticer said).

I'd recommend After Effects but there're many other options like the amazing Nuke, from The Foundry (if you master that one, you can actually apply for a job as a Hollywood vfx composer) and free alternatives like Wax 2.0.

As for me, I'm currently using 3D software for the physical boobs, matching movement in 3D and using After Effects to blend everything together, but the Carmella Bing morph that R&H is referring to was made using After Effects only.

Just a piece of advice: you'll need lots of patience and dedication to get decent results, but if you really like it, then go ahead! It's a lot of fun actually.

By 'composer' I assume you mean 'compositor' ...and the 2D job market in the Hollywood VFX industry peaked several years ago. There are still jobs for skilled Nuke artists, but fewer and fewer each year as the big facilities outsource more and more of that work to offshore partners and subsidiaries.

BE morph are a dime a dozen, but using video is much harder and tedious and exhaustive timewise. But I highly encourage it because when you finish each one it is quite rewarding to do. Just like drawing for the first time, it may be rough, but with time you will get better. There not that many of us that do this particular fetish.

Of course I meant "compositor". My mistake.

About outsourcing... That should be good for me living in Spain. I just lack the proper contacts.

And about 2D work... I suppose you mean that most compositing work is now done in a 3D space, but again programs like Nuke or Fusion are perfectly able to work that way, so the market just needs an upgraded version of the same artist. Am I right?

Wow, I have seen OOze3D stuff so I am honor with your appraisal. In my opinion Ooze3D stuff the best I have seen, so I am flattered. But the more the merrier and this niche is not saturated like everything else. So yeah! I welcome anyone and would give freely any advice. I am personally excited to see anyone that have interest in doing this.

Okay. Thanks everyone so far. I got Adobe After Effects (CS4 because it was cheaper) and now I have a few questions. How can I do motion track on certain aspects (specifically the breasts). Are there any tutorials on the internet? Also is the fact that I am using CS4 going to be a problem?

No kidding.  I spent several days trying to get even a decent track on a couple videos.  The results can be much more convincing (and EASIER) if your source material was shot for it.  Tracking points, simple camera moves, et cetera.

In another thread, not going to look right now though, I posted some animated morphs I did.  They were morphed on still images, but the result is animated, which is much easier than trying to do fully animated movies from scratch.

And I first used Photoshop and Animation Shop, then moved over to After Effects, which makes everything much easier.

EDIT:
There's nothing specific to breasts, but check out Video Copilot for some great AE tutorials and files.  He shows you exactly how to make some spectacular effects from scratch, including a moving facial morph that might be helpful in your attempts.

I made a 33 minute tutorial on BE video animation in Quicktime MOV file 180 MB. It contain the trick of the trade using masking, bulge tracking, shadow and highlights of the fake Breast. Here's the deal, I am low on cash and if you're interested in the tutorial, would you be willing to pay for it? and how much would be a fair bargain?

Slightly edited to remove something that could have become a rule violation.
