Addventure multi-posting question

I just posted my first addventure episode today at:

I'm not really sure about the etiquette of this game.. but is it considered bad form to immediately jump onto one of your own link options and continue writing?

Also, wouldn't it be cool if you could "rate" an individual episode the way that you can at TOFB?  I wonder how impossible would it be to add that logic into the game?  It certainly would open up the conversation a bit more... and give massive feedback to the authors.

It's not bad form, many people do that including me, if I have enough momentum going.  And other authors can choose to take one of the unused options from your previous ep, if they really want to.

Partly it depends on whatever relationship you have with other writers that thread, and whether you want to let them take a turn.  But I'd say if you've got more to say, then say it.

Ratings have been suggested before, but I don't have much time for major code changes.  Opinions?

I think that the Comments feature is the best way of providing feedback, as it can be more informative than a simple rating would be. And there's nothing to prevent a commenter including a rating in their comment if they want to. I suppose the drawback with that is that most people probably only bother to comment on episodes which they like.

One snag with ratings is that I suspect that what people are looking for in an episode varies a lot, so that there would a wide spread of ratings and it would be hard to draw any conclusions.
