I created this episode yesterday. It is showing up on the recent episodes list, but when you click on it, it goes to the episode creation page. However, if I click "Accept" to try to re-write it, I get the "This episode has already been created" page.

Is this episode recoverable? This seems to happen to me regularly enough that I felt I should find out if I'm doing anything wrong when I post these.

May I just say: welcome to the Forum, long acknowledged Addventurer. Cool

Addendum: and like JH, I'm seeing it too.

The episode shows up fine for me. I suspect that the problem is that, for some reason, your browser hasn't updated its cached version of the page. If your broswer is IE, then IIRC pressing Control and F5 simultaneously while viewing the page will do it. (Or it might be Shift and F5.)

It shows up for me too.

JH is correct, the usual explanation is that the original "Creating episode" page is stuck in your browser cache.  Things to try are:
  • Hit Refresh (F5) on the page
  • Hit Ctrl+Refresh (Ctrl+F5) on the page
  • Close all browser windows and open a new session
  • Delete temporary files in the browser and revisit the page

After you finish submitting an episode, there's a "Go to episode" link -- if you click on that, you can see your new episode.  That's because that URL has a "?" at the end of it, which means that your browser cache is bypassed because the URL is different from the original.

I didn't even think of re-caching. I feel a bit foolish. Anyway, thanks everyone - problem solved.
