The arms make me think of Laura Sands but I'm pretty sure it's not Laura. Distinctive scar on her belly... I think it's that plush retro brunette who I always think looks like Linda Ronstadt facially... but I can't recall her name in order to check.

This is the only pic I have for an IDQ... any help appreciated. :)

Pal,

I think the LR lookalike you are thinking of is Lauren Van Nuys who modeled in the late 80s/early 90s but this woman has a different face. She has some similarities to an earlier Mary Cooper in the boobs and facially but Mary didn't have a scar AFAIK and her hair is straight compared to Mary's. I think this photo dates from the late 60s to maybe the late 70s, a time frame which none of the other models were active in (sans perhaps Laura) At least you can rule out Lauren in your mind.

Thanks burpman... I lost track of this separate IDQ, having rolled most into my big IDQ thread.

Your Lauren Van Nuys IS the Linda R. lookalike that I was thinking of (though I must have known of her under some other name since I've seen her/that pic before but didn't have a LVN folder) and I agree, my IDQ subject in this thread isn't her. Attached is another pic of Lauren that I found amongst actual Linda R. pix. Funny a model would choose "Van Nuys" as a stage surname... though it's the approximate center of porn production in SoCal, most of it is fairly unappealing aesthetically (no offense intended to any VN residents, but ya gotta admit: car dealerships and run-down bungalows and cheap apartment buildings aren't exactly Pacific Palisades). Even "Lauren Lichtenstein" or "Lauren Lithuania" conjures up more pleasant imagery. JMHO. ;)

I also agree that the IDQ lady in question does remind me a bit of Mary Cooper... maybe her with a wig perhaps? I dunno.

As always, I appreciate the help in attempting to unravel these vital cultural mysteries. :)

I color corrected the original slide/photo as best as I could and placed the two side by side in a similar pose. The scar and the hair are the two major differences but the boobs, body type and facial structure are very similar. Without any additional photos, I cannot be certain but there are a lot of affinities between them.

Pal replies: you've gone above and beyond the call of duty burpman! Thanks! :D

Based on your comparison, I am tending to think the UnID subject *IS* Mary Cooper. True, some birthmarks don't match (which could be attributable to airbrushing, makeup or simply the passage of time between the two images) but several other birthmarks do match, and as you point out, physically, they're very similar. So, I'm going to mark this solved (and again, you have my appreciation :)) and on the off chance someone comes up with a substantiated different ID, we can always edit the thread. :)
