Title: BUSTY AMERICAN COMICS LIST
Post by: Robert_A_Gilmour on April 02, 2005, 08:31:37 PM
BUSTY AMERICAN COMICS LIST.  Or any that are not from East Asia

First off I’ll mention the attachment is from a back-up series in Savage Dragon, the feature was called Savage Dragonbert and it was obviously based on Dilbert by Scott Adams but was just making fun of comics and the comic industry and is the funniest comic I have ever read and it was collected in Savage Dragonbert: Full frontal Nerdity. It was by Karl Hornell who has a website at www.javaonthebrain.com/dragonbert

The reason I wanted to make this list is that no-one else has although there were polls and forums about favourite busty girls in comics. There have been ones about Manga Hentai (which are too numberable to start a detailed forum about and there are some good sites that try to list all of them in separate categories including the big bust genre, I’ll give a link soon to a good site for that) Videogames and Anime.
Although Anime is better for big-breasts since you have movement and Manga has been expansive on big breasts, I feel it is really nice to see it in American comics.

Please add to this list and send me searching for more comics.

SIMON BISLEY
Simon Bisley has done lots of work for Heavy Metal magazine and Verotik Comics that are filled with busty girls. The best one has to be FISTFUL OF BLOOD which was a black and white series in Heavy Metal magazine about a pale female gunslinger in a vampire filled wild west.

RED MONIKA from BATTLECHASERS
Red Monika is probably the most famous one and made a cameo in Street Fighter#1 from the Image comics series when Joe Madureira did a backup story. Louis Small Jr did a great picture of her at http://hometown.aol.com/luckycow/barnyardofart.html   . which is a great site for commissions that professionals have done for fans, which are mostly girls from comics, it has lots of Red Monika also http://darkstormgraphix.com

PHANTOM LADY
In the old days of comics The Phantom Lady was the crowned busty super heroine, mostly because of good girl artist Matt Baker, who is soon getting a feature done on him in AlterEgo magazine. When censorship became relevant in the fifties Matt Bakers busty Phantom Lady was pointed at for being inappropriate for children by Dr. Wertham in the infamous book Seduction of the Innocent.

THE SPIRIT
Since The Spirit was fuelled by topics of the times Jane Russell (who was one of the first women in movies famous for her chest, especially since she was the first woman to wear the Wonderbra, which was for a movie) was targeted and spoofed in a story in The Spirit section 1stSEP1946  called “Olga Bustle In Outcast”. As you all probably know, all the Spirit stories have been reprinted many times.

MOONCHILD or MOONIE
Moonie is a signature character of Nick Culti and was in underground comics that got collected in a 3 issue series from Forbidden Fruit called Moonchild, recently there was another 3 issue comeback called Moonie by MU press. Moonie was supposed to be a triple G-cup.

BABEWATCH?
I think it was called that, but there was an inflation scene where a woman is falling down a drop and pulls a plug from her bra and her huge breasts are revealed and let her have a safe landing.

LADY DEATH
Mostly at Chaos!comics by Steven Hughes(since his death it has been less worthwhile)

TAROT, 3 LITTLE KITTENS, JIM BALENT
At Broadsword Comics Jim Balent and his girlfriend (who is pretty hot herself) have been good to us with Tarot which is kind of a tribute to Frank Thorne and his Red Sonja comics. Vampfire and 3 Little Kittens also. Jim Balent had a 77 issue run on a bustier than usual Catwoman.

HAROLD HEDD: HITLERS COCAINE
A 2 issue series by Rand Holmes from Kitchen Sink Press in 84. It had a hot girl in it.

SQP
They do artbooks like Leather and Lace, Treasure Chests and Mermaids, often featuring marvellous covers by Joe Chiodo. They also did a Little Annie Fanny rip-off called The Spanking Good Adventures of Dolly.

BILL WARD
Probably the best gag artist of his type for big boobs. Fantagraphics recently released a great book on his girl-art. He made his name doing a comic called Torchy which I think he retuned to bring out a ruder version of the old stories. He did dirtier and dirtier work as he got older. Here are a few links.
http://womenofward.com
www.operagloves.com/classic
www.petticoatpunishmentart.com
http://molelog.molehill.org/blox/smut/art
www.thepinupfiles.com

OTHER GAG ARTISTS
Marvels publisher Martin Goodman (in the days they were making a good name for themselves) also also had a company called Humourama that published lots of mens magazines that were similar to Playboy and had jokes written by Stan Lee that were drawn by BILL WARD, JACK COLE(Plastic Man creator), STAN GOLDBERG, DAN DECARLO(Creator of Josie and The Pussycats, and the best Archie artist),ERIC STANTON. Most of these guys did great art for playboy that was very similar and often better because of the high pay.
Eric Stanton  www.stantongallery.com   and   www.catfightnostalgia.com/illustrations.htm
Julius Zimmerman does similar art but mostly of Jessica Rabbit and other comic girls there is a staggeringly big gallery of his art at www.ozgolith.com/zimmerman
I think Score artist Otis Sweat will have a similar status someday and will have books on his work, hopefully by me(the fans always make it happen).
Most of these artists have a big gallery at www.sademarchese.org/illus  and   www.sademarchese.org/illsm          I can’t get to both sides of the site from one part of it so I give 2 links.

SAVAGE DRAGON
One of the main characters is called Rita Medermade and is a tall red haired former cop, now calls herself Red Giant(she can grow in size as a new power) Much more busty than the average Erik Larsen girl (I like his Mary Jane drawings in his run on Amazing Spider-Man) she has appered near naked several times, I was going to make a collage of her appearances but here are the issues I was going to take from Savage Dragon#20,27,36,37,39,45,49-59,73,79,94,100,106,115,119. most have a good display of her. Erik Larsen also did great big boob covers for Desperate Times which was also from Image comics.

CASE MORGAN by DON LOMAX
These are not the easiest comics to find but if you want 7 issues(from Forbidden Fruit) of ZZ-cups on every girl that Case Morgan meets it is worth looking for. The most giant-breast-filled comic I have ever saw, even more than Eiken. Don Lomax still does huge chested stories for Eros comics that I cannot remember the name of about a warrior woman.

CAVEWOMAN
Not only a good one for breasts but a great comic altogether, usually drawn by BUDD ROOT or DEVON MASSEY. Basement Comics do other things featuring these artists, sometimes MITCH MASSEY does work too. Mitch Massey also drew a comic called LEAGUE OF SUPERGROOVY CRIMEFIGHTERS which had a stacked girl worth mentioning that was kind of like Hawkeye from the Avengers.
  www.basementcomics.com  www.devonmassey.com   www.dgcomicart.com/devon%20massey.htm

DEMENTIA
Horror comic artist Tom Sutton called himself Dementia to do very dark and cruel huge breast art and comics published by Eros (such as BUFFY) for his remaining years.

BAZOOKA JULES
Neil Googe started an ongoing series called Bazooka Jules(from Com.x) a few years ago that has only had 3 issues and it does not seem likely he’ll return to it soon. It featured a teenage girl that had an operation that equipped her with guns, strength and huge breasts(?) when she needed them.
A picture of her:  http://pompey.usc.edu/drama/source/bazooka_jules_chapter_499.htm

HYPERJEN
A site for professional artists drawing  a character called Hyperjen, lots of the drawings are very busty.  www.hyperjen.com
BAZONGAS! By KOVIK
I think his real name is Tony Crnkovich, apparently he has been doing sometimes near photo-realistic busty girls for decades, he specialises in giving golden age **28** G-cups. Although he does the occasional pin-up for Eros comics the only things I could find by him were 3 volumes of Bazongas! Which are about 60 pages of pin-ups of his art per volume and are well worth it.

GILBERT HERNANDEZ
Almost everything by this guy has busty girls in it,(he is also one of the greatest people working in comics today) He has his main character Luba who is a HHH-cup has featured in LOVE AND ROCKETS(rumors of the film had me wondering what Luba would look like)LUBA#1-10, LUBA’S COMICS AND STORIES#1-5, NEW LOVE#1-6.
Her beautiful sisters Fritz and Petra are almost as big and had a hardcore story in the BIRDLAND book from Eros. All of these could not come recommended highly enough by me(his Love and Rockets work is the only comics that had me genuinely depressed) from a combination of girls and overall quality.
He also did GIRL CRAZY, GRIP:THE STRANGE WORLD OF MEN.

WHITE LIGHTNING PUBLISHING
They do mainly manga inspired comics like NIPPLE MAGICIAN, BOOTLEG (which often features MILKMAID)
 www.wlpcomics.com

POWERGIRL
For some reason almost every who has drawn her in comics like JSA has decided to give her bigger breasts than all the other characters, I wonder how it happened.

ART WETHERWELL
Another Eros artist with a breast fixation in things like TREASURE CHESTS(around 8 issues long) and 2 HOT GIRLS ON A HOT SUMMER NIGHT.

WINGBIRD
A Manga styled artist that has done lots of  busty work for Verotik comics and had specials to himself and statues released based on his art of the Verotik characters.

CREEPS
If anyone remembers this series from Image comics they will probably shudder that I mention it. There was a freak called Gelulite and was a terribly obese woman who could shapeshift her fat and each of her breasts was about the size of a man. Creeps had art by the brilliant Tom Mandrake. 4 issues, it was expected to go longer and the creators wanted it to return someday.

GINGER HILL ATTACKS
A one issue story that had very busty art by DAN PLEGEL, it was from BONEYARD PRESS who might have done more things like this.

AXEBONE
Also known as Michael Potter(who had an issue shared with photos of LOVETTE and a photo cover of her), he has been doing  busty pinups for VAMPEROTICA for a while, Vamperotica creator KIRK LINDO also modifies his style to give his character Luxura a bigger chest sometimes.
www.axebone.com

KEVIN TAYLOR
He did a series called GIRL, get anything by him and there will be some great sweaty stories with great girls.

LITTLE ANNIE FANNY
WILL ELDER did great work on this well worthy of mention, Will Elder is someone who drew great girls throughout his career.

RICKY CARRALERO
Does photo-real girl-art and sometimes changes to do bustier and more cartoony work on creator owned things like DOUBLE IMPACT.

COOP
Does lots of drawings of a full-figured devil girl that have been as posters, tattoos, sketchbooks and statues.
www.coopstuff.com

JONNI FUTURE
A feature in TOM STRONG’S TERRIFIC TALES by ARTHUR ADAMS(a great artist for girls.) There was a great one where she had a dream lots of naked doppelgangers of herself were stripping her of her clothes.

CLAUDIO CASTELLINI(did a great drawing of Superboy lifting up two beach babes in DC VS MARVEL), ADAM HUGHES, JOYCE CHIN, TERRY DODSON, FRANK CHO and RICHARD CORBEN all do popular big busted work but no breast sizes to scream about.

GEN13# 13C
Make sure you don’t mix it up with 13A or 13B, these are not variant covers, they are completely different comics, 13C has a cameo of LADY DEATH of around 5 panels of  J.Scott Campbell drawing an unusually large chested Lady Death, the biggest I have ever saw him draw.

BODY BAGS
A miniseries by JASON PEARSON with a hot teenage girl.

AC COMICS
Bill Black and his  fellow artists tend to get more adult and draw bigger chests every now and again(usually fifty foot tall women) FEMZINE#1-3

BAY CITY JIVE
A 3 issue series from Wildstorm based on blaxploitation films of the 70s, there is a chesty Chinese assassin in it, deliciously drawn by JASON JOHNSON.

GATECRASHER 2nd series#2
A Red Sonja spoof called Blue Tonya is in this issue, she shoves her chest into the main characters’ face.

GENETIC GRUNGE
An artist called ZOLOZABAL did this and a sequel, both were hardback books but with few pages, very modern techno art with very wet-skinned busty girls. I think the first book was from Darkhorse.

MINKA
There was a comic series called something like Porn-stars’ Fantasies and one issue concentrated on the fantasies described by Minka.

BOMBABY: SCREEN GODDESS
So far 4 issues have appeared and a trade paperback including the first 3 issues has came out, a very light-hearted comic about a princess from Bombay who is in the bollywood industry, extremely colourful. Quite strong religious overtones.

JORDI BERNET
Spanish artist who took over Alex Toth on a comic called TORPEDO(gangster comic) and fast gained a reputation for drawing girls. Somehow you can almost feel the girls’ body parts from just looking at his art, everything looks like it’s flopping and jiggling.

KJARTAN ARNORSSON
Does anthro-busty comics like BIG-FUNNIES

BREAST DUEL
Two girls fight over a man or territory or something, Great painted art. Trade Paperback.

BART SEARS
Did some big bust adult comics for several companies and does nice girls in the occasional superhero comic.

RICH LARSON
When not collaborating with Steve Fastner on popular girl art for SQP he did a feature called TUFF LUV, which once appeared in Threshold from Avatar comics.

REICH **09**: CONCEPTION OF DARKNESS
A ww2 comic that has aliens super-nazis and a huge-chested blonde soldier called Inga.  This was a 3 issue series from Forever Press. Difficult to find.

NERVOUS REX
I don’t think most people would think this is worthy of mention because it is so cartoony (by William Van Horn from Blackthorne comics in the mid-eighties) in issue 6(the only one I have saw)  there was a short feature about a guy called King Billy who goes after very large busted girls constantly, I suspect every issue is like this.

PERRY RHODAN
I found from this site someone mentioned a character called RUBBER GIRL who stretched her breasts to her advantage in a foreign comic called Perry Rhodan. If they can tell me more please do.

MISADVENTURES OF BABS
Another find from this site, a tribute to Tina Small, very little info.

MISS JOAN
If it gets published my art will be in it(I hope, I did a five page story) I can’t remember if it is being sold in either Mexico, Spain or Italy. Miss Joan has a website.

Some sites with good comics or art with comic characters.

www.bearchive.com/~uniongraphics         ….Megga Glannz comics

You are off to a great start! I've read and/or own every one of the commercially available ones. It might actually be easier to list favorite artists as there work often spans many titles...

Two of my favorites...

"Pinnochia"
Gibrat, Leroi

"Anibal Cinq: the Last Ten Women I've Known"
Alejandro Jodorowsky, Georges Bess (1990)

Anibal 5 is truly excellent. The best
comic art, a fun story, and very erotic.

Pinnochia has slow BE when she lies,
but it's not emphasized in the art. Oh well.

Although I suppose these would be categorized
as "graphic novels" more than periodic comics.

You can also add Fred Rice and his "Queen Gazonga" famous comics into this list.

To All: I don't mean only the "Queen Gazonga" comics published into old "D-Cup" magazines, but also the big comic-book, composed from all these stories, published in one volume several years ago, including some art-works.

Someone said that it was an edition for collectors, and there were only about 1000 issues of Queen Gazonga Adventures published.

Thank you, it doesent really matter if it's a graphic novel, it still belongs in the list, that reminds me, early TANK GIRL issues had oscure BE scenes.

Lot easier to find busty stand-up female comedians than FUNNY female standup comedians.

Also need to mention Frank Frazetta, who was really one of the first contemporary fantasy authors to indulge his love for curves on a woman in his art. Greg Hilderbrandt has in the past few years strayed away from traditional Tolkein fantasy illustrations and taken up doing pin-up art and some his stuff has quite the busty lass featured in it. And in the '70s Berni Wrightson and Vaughn Bode teamed up to do a saucy comic strip for Cavalier magazine with many numerous big-boobed wenches.

One heroine who made a brief but spectacular appearance was FATALE, an unapologetically huge-busted woman on the run from a conspiracy.

I could've missed it, but I didn't see any mention of an obvious candidate:  CATWOMAN, whose tits have (inexplicably) grown quite huge over the years.

A somewhat famous story about POWER GIRL, but it bears repeating:

Artist Wally Wood, himself no slouch as drawing big-chested women, kept drawing Power Girl with bigger and bigger breasts, waiting to see how long it would take before somebody noticed and/or told him to cease and desist.  Since she's not flying around with zeppelin-sized boobs, I guess we can be sure that somebody caught on eventually.

Go pick up a copy of Heavy Metal at Barnes and Noble
or wherever. All these graphics novels can be ordered
from ads in the magazine. If you order, you'll get
a catalog listing every adult comic and hentai manga
imaginable. You will also probably get put on several
mailing lists and get catelogs there. So be careful
which address you use.

You might also do a web search on "Eurotica" and/or
"Amerotica". I think this is the company that publishes
these graphic novels.

I've also seen these books for sale in comics stores
that carry adult themes. 18 or older required, of course.

Wonderfull lists, just the kind of thing I go to this web site for.  I really apreaciate trystonline.com.
In the past there were quite a few "live tits" vs "cartoon tits" arguments here, but I always wondered if the guys who loved live tits so much were also the ones asking for bigger and bigger morphs, which, to me, are nothing more than cartoons.
Anyhow.
To Robert A Gilmour:
Wasn't "Bazooka Jules" produced in England?
I bought a used copy of "Breast Duel" in AZ last summer.   Corrina Sexton wrote and Daniel Pascarelli provided the art.
And Frank Cho is curently doing a "Shana the She-Devil" mini-series for Marvel that is a direct steal off of "Cavewoman" right down to the huge tits and extra dense skin.
BTW, how could you not mention the work of Fred Perry?  His "Gold Digger" consistantly includes some of the biggest busted women in comics done in his highly pleasing manga influenced style. In particular, Britanny, the giant were-lepoard, is really huge and often trots around in a T-shirt that proudly states "YES THEY ARE REAL!"
Speaking of anomorphized females with giant tits, try macrophile.com, particularly the works of Kolt, Wolf and Cougr.

Yes, Bazooka Jules is "Made in England", but worthy of being listed as "Busty, but Not Manga" (which is the real distinction being made in this thread, I thought).

As for Fred Perry, he's certainly a favorite artist of mine. Perhaps I should have included him in my list.

Finally, here's the cover for the first issue of Shanna, the She-Devil. Frank Cho is a frequent contributor to Basement Comics (i.e. good friend of Budd Root, the creator of Cavewoman), so I think calling it "stealing" is an exaggeration. Besides, wasn't the original Shanna made many years BEFORE the first Cavewoman?

Well, The Herald (are you from New York, BTW?), the thread is titled BUSTY  AMERICAN   COMICS LIST!
I guess saying Frank Cho stole the Cavewoman idea did sound a little harsher than I meant it to.  I am quite familure with the fact that Cho has done work for Root on the Cavewoman comic and I am sure what he's doing with Shana has Roots approval.  Cho is one of the "young lions" of the industry, equally adored by fans and critics alike and two things be loves to draw are huge busted women and monsters and Shana really fills the bill.  And lets face it, Shana was originally a blatant copy of Sheena, Queen of the Jungle.  So much for original ideas.

It's true that the thread title specifies American, but Robert_A_Gilmour (his "Loc:" says he's from Scotland) went on to say in his first line: "BUSTY AMERICAN COMICS LIST. Or any that are not from East Asia."

You've got me curious though, what made you think I might be from New York? Can't be my accent, I have the typical "Midwestern drawl" from the upper midwest states and middle provinces of Canada.

<--- Here's MY location.

Oh, I saw that you now live in Wisconson.  It's just that the most famous Hearld I know is the New York Hearld Tribune, the late, great newspaper.
BTW, the latest issue of Shana came out today and Cho is really out doing himself.  In one scene, two of the men traped with Shana in The Forgotten Land are having a debate about just how big her tits are.  They settle on 40DD, but I think they're bigger.
Hey!  Don't forget to add "Shaundra the Savage She-Male" by Philo to the list.  Meant as a parody of Red Sonja, the huge breasted Shaundra has been cursed with a huge dick between her legs that shows up at just the wrong times.  Please buy the comics and don't frequent any illegal web sites that might feature this strip.

Oh yes!  Be sure to add "Bone Yard" (NOT "BONE") to the list.  It comes out as a regular independent comic and in trade paperbacks.  Of particular interest among it's cast of funny monsters is one who looks like a female version of the Creature From The Black Lagoon.  She's married to a Frankenstine Monster type but she's also a nympho with the hots for the yound man who owns the title graveyard where all these wierdos live.  Eventhough she's technically an amphibian she has an enormos pair of mamaries which she flaunts at every opportunity.  Her rival is a cute little raven haired vampire who's really attractive but measures about an "A" cup.

Yes, Bazooka Jules was produced in England.
Frank Cho has done some Cavewoman stuff too.
I actually had a picture of a comic cover by Fred Perry where an extremely busty warrior woman and a man were fighting off thorns and the thorns were wrapping around her breasts, I didn't have the issue number.

Boneyard is available at just about any comicbook shop.  The trade paperbacks might be foind at larger book stores, as well.  And the artist does have a web site which even features some of his X-rated creations.  Can't think of his name right now, but that shouldn't be too hard to find.

Wally Wood created Power Girl for the first revival of the Justice Society of Anerican, I believe sometime in the 1970s.  Her busty looks and brash character were in marked and deliberate contrast to Super Girl's much more demure apearance and attitude.

That he does, not up to the "Oh my god, I cann't move" sizebig, but he does do up to "You could put an eye out with those torpedoes." He also does a lot of 'furry' artwork, and his signature comic is "Gold Digger," which is frickin hilarious, as well as having many female characters who are definately a medum D-cup or more.

You can find some of Fred Perry's artwork at his  VCL Archive page .

At ease, soldier, I appreciate you sharing that drawing with us.  My only point was that I hope to get the names of a lot more artists on this thread that I don't know about yet, that's all.  BTW, did you see the story Perry did (I'm not sure if it was for "Gold Digger" or not) where a mercenary breaks in on a bunch of women and steals their magic formula to make someone an unbeatable warrior?  He drinks it, not realizing that it only works on women and it turns him into a really huge busted female.  But he adapts quickly and defeats the good guy by distracting him with his exposed breasts.  "Haw, that's been done enough times to ME" he says(or words to that effect.)  Anyone have some illustrations from that story?

I will add my vote to those who are underwhelmed by most of the busty superheroine sites because of the unrelenting S&M.  I avoid most henti because of the tentacles, then every one of these sites features some slobering alien sticking it's tentacles into every available hole!  It doesn't matter how powerful any of these babes are supposed to be, at the first sign of a dick (or a tentacle) she is instantly rendered helpless.  It seems the artists, no matter how talented, are interested in nothing but the wank factor.  Hey, they can draw what they wish, but I kind of like a story along with my wank.
BTW, that Howard the Duck graphic novel (if it's the same one I'm thinking about), also features some amusing TG.  Howard, who has already been changed from a duck into a rat, is further transformed by the magic bra into a very busty female rat for about three pages.  He was actually kind of cute, in a scarry sort of way.

Funny you should mention her. I'm currently coloring her from Fred Perry's GD-Tangent webcomic. Her name is Sheila (don't remember her last name). Here's a link to the image I'm coloring, but I'm not finished, ..yet.

(Sheila is on the right. The lovely (but less endowed) lady on the left is an Amazon Breeder named "Sil"). "Northern Edge" page 21

BTW, from this page, click on the "previous" link to see a better image of Sil.

Added: The link above goes to Fred Perry's rendition of her. Below, I have the same character drawn by John Barrett in the comic book mentioned above.

ive seen it mentioned in another thread, but i would like to mention it here. its not a graphic novel or comic book, its just an ordinary strip. on occasion, the focus is the main characters breasts. her size is revealed in one of the earlier strips. http://www.wapsisquare.com

it gets sort of mystical and is not a story about JUST boobs. i guess thats why i kinda liked it and was able to read the entire thing.

It seems the Powergirl appearance in 52#27 is delayed to a later issue, I'm betting Hughes was too slow. If I havent mentioned Powergirl in JLA/JSA: Virtue and Vice TP, I should have, Carlos Pacheco draws her very nicely.
I'm not sure if I've mentioned before, but Red Monika has had several decent appearances in Wizard magazine:
Wizard#93(Fred Perry drawing)97(Jim Balent draws her fighting Lara Croft)119(Christian Zanier draws her arm wrestling Spawn).
I spotted covers of 2 comics that had very buxom girls on them:
 3-D True Crime#1
 Guy Gardner:Warrior#38
There is BE in H.E.R.O#12
There is a buxom girl in a short story in Alien Encounters#5
To my delight I found out that the original art to the Spellbound#20 cover ( http://comics.org/coverview.lasso?id=75879&zoom=4  )is featured in Comic Book Marketplace#47, but Russ Heath's original art of the cover is apparently in Dolly Parton proportions, so the final version of the cover was toned down.

While we're all still waiting for TheHerald   , here's a truly out-of-the-blue alert.

I watch boring old MSNBC to catch the Money Honey, Maria Bartiromo, as the New York Stock Exchange winds down for the day -- and there was a story about how Kiss Star Gene Simmons is working on a comic, involving someone named Sean Taylor, called Dominatrix.  He describes it as "T&A meets CIA."  The heroine is based on Taylor Wane.

Thanks Liam! I finally got my scanner working again, but, erhm, ..I can't seem to find my copy of that issue (that I think I bought).

Notice the typo in the title? Subtle clue: "Orgiin"

A long time ago, Mr. Chili Palmer, who's story archive is still available here at bearchive, used to have a much much more extensive library available.  Now, It may still be available for members, alas, I am not, so I don't know for sure.  But, almost every single comic that has been discussed in this thread was available in FULL for us to read at our pleasure.  I sure do miss those days.

My brother is geeting a tattoo in a few weeks that will cover one shoulder.  It will resemble this panel by Bisley, with some modifications.

Tho I'm not a huge tat fan, I gotta admit that's one nice image. It reminds me of Richard Corben, or the kind of stuff I used to see in Heavy Metal magazine years ago. Maybe you can eventually post a photo of the shoulder/tatoo in question?

Yes, Simon Bisley is very remniscent of Corben with his obsession with the ideal human form and unflinching eye for violence.  I first noticed his work in the '90s with the enormously entertaining 'Lobo' series for DC.  As for the tattoo itself, I'll see what I can do.

There has been hardly any busts around in comics apart from the usual Tarot and Cavewoman. But I recently bought Heavy Metal#Jan 2008 and it features an artist new to the magazine and to western comic readers called Laura Spianelli. Kevin Eastman hints she may be a new regular, she has been doing lots of weird comics for the last 2 years including a Lucio Fulci tribute and possibly Dylan Dog. The Heavy Metal short story features some kind of detective or something(I have yet to read it) who is slim with what looks like GG-cups.

Here is a link to her blogs, which shows her drawing quite a few stacked girls.

.........But I warn you, her stuff is a bit weirder than most of you would like.

So I was in Wal-Mart Tuesday and I go over to the toy section to see if they have any new Japanese Tuner Car Models and I turn to see there, on the action figure side, Legendary Comic Heroes featuring Body Bags the father/daughter bounty hunter team. I had to pick it up. Here's a pic of the pair. (And yes, that was totally a pun) :P

Since Panda is supposed to be 14, we're taking the Body Bags images offline.  This is a porn site, so any images representing people or characters under 18 --drawn, photographed, or whatever-- aren't welcome here.

Thanks so much for this! What a brilliant thread!

I'm not a big fan of the superhero type ones, but I love the ones that are more comical and humourous, like Miss Joan and Queen Gazonga!   Does anyone know of anymore that are done a similar way to those?

Thanks again

Powergirl and She-Hulk notwithstanding, it's a well documented fact that 99% of comic book women are very well-endowed.
Post some of the bustiest versions of these super-heroines/villians you've come across

It was serialised in Heavy Metal magazine about 7 years ago and it's now collected into a graphic novel and should be pretty easy to find on amazon. It's a horror/western with a pale mute gunslinger who must be the most buxom Bisley girl there has been.

I'm not sure if I mentioned before, but there is a trading card of Rita Medermade from Savage Dragon in the IMAGE OVERPOWER series.
