February 2019
The contest theme for February is
water
The rules are as usual, slightly adjusted to compensate for the short month:
- The contest is open until the poll is posted on the 18th of this month, and the winner will be announced a week later;
- You can make up to three submissions, but they will be considered separately;
- If you have a specific title you want for your morph, put it in the post and/or as the file name on the picture.
Good luck!

OK, I'll test the water. I hope, that I understood rightly, that this is acceptable :o
-
Very acceptable Captain. :)
-
My first entry with Agnetis, the true miracle ;D 8)
-
^ BEAutifil. She comes equipped with her own water safety flotation devices. ;) ;D
-
Thank you, Captain Nemo and Cebe, for our first entries, respectively cheerleader56* and 1902 Agnetis. Both are posted in the Users' Gallery @

*Yes, Captain, if water is depicted in any way in the morph, it qualifies.
-
Hey, where are you? This month is short, hurry up ???
I post my second entry with Issy, she is the “beauty by the pool” :o
-
^ This is a great morph. :) Please do not delete it.

Even her tattoo fits with the subject matter!

Damn, Cebe, this one looks very realistic, to me. Awesome!

This refered to my morph of Alice Goodwin. I post it here in mistake :-[ it was for Llelwyn's thread, I deleted it from here and post it there

Thank you, Cebe, for Beauty by the pool starring Issy*. It's posted in the Users' Gallery. Yes, sad to say, interest in this contest is flagging badly. :-[ There's still hope that it will revive :)

Oh well...
-
Pete, that is a magnificent morph. What's amazing is that there really wasn't much aggrandizement of the original which only shows how huge she truly is. Thanks partner. :)
-
Solvegas that was the work of Captain Nemo, he sent it to me shortly after I joined the forum. I thought it made the grade too.
-
That last image posted by Pete is indeed a morph, based on the image I posted to open the thread devoted to Lori: http://forum.bearchive.com/index.php?topic=9995203.285 . But are you sure it is by Captain Nemo? It is much more subtle than his usual work. He did post a morph of the same image the next day after I opened that above-indicated thread, but it is far more strongly enhanced. Perhaps he sent you a more subdued version, although there is no sign of his customary "N°" logo. In any case, I could only consider it as an entry if it is the morpher's wish.
µ
-
Well, I am complemented, that Pete is liking my "subdued" morph of his wife, but I don't think I want to include it into my submissions, I have all ready two more I want to submit. I don't suppose, that it is possible to accept Pete's submission as from him, not me, even it is my morph? ???
-
Sorry about that Captain, I'll take credit for it so it doesn't count against your submissions. I wasn't aware of the rules and guidelines with respect to this thread. If needed we can remove it, I just really liked this version, Pete.

Goodness, Pete, nothing to be sorry. You posted my morph because You liked it, I am proud. May be Prof will allow it as entry additional to my quota of 3 ???
-
Thank you, Pete: it's encouraging to see a poster of private images who admires and promotes morphs of those images, and as you see, it's fine with the Captain.
:-\ Buuuuut -- I can't see favoring one candidate with extra entries, even when posted by someone else. I have accepted such proxy submissions before, but not when the morpher concerned submits his own entries.
::) Buuuuut -- I can see my way to a solution: I will accept Big Lovey Jugs as an additional entry for Captain Nemo, and raise the limit to four (4) entries for each morpher (for this month's contest only). Everyone should be happy with that :)
µ
-
Four entries ? A capital idea. Perhaps you can make it permanent. :)
-
The theme seems broad enough to accept a lot of variants so, once again, where are you?
Here is my third entry “out of the water”. Bianca or Lara ???
(more entries could be good but more morphers would be better :-\)
-
Thank you, Cebe, for submitting out of the water, your third this month -- but not last, remember you are allowed one more in February (see below). It's posted in the Users' Gallery @ http://bearchive.com/board/bea-morph-contest/113278/ -- and so is Pete's submission of Captain Nemo's Big Lovey Jugs, which counts as the Captain's second entry, so he can submit two more :D
µ
-
So we're all good then??
-
Well, sure. I'm just hoping for more morphers to show up ???
µ
-
Thanks Cebe for that super hot morph of Bianca as Lara Croft. :)
-
No worry, Candy, it's there 8)
-
Four entries for this short month? OK, here is my fourth: a fisher woman
-
Thank you, Captain Nemo and Cebe, for your latest entries, respectively Candy Charms diamond clasp and Fisherwoman. Both are posted in the Users' Gallery.
µ
-
much water here 8)
-
Thank you. Captain, for your fourth entry Angel Allegra greets the sea, now posted in the UG.
Folks, remember that submission time ends a day earlier than usual for this short month, and will close in just under 12 hours. It would be nice if more morphers were participating ???
µ
-
OK, 8 morphs to choose from. Wish there were more, even though these are good quality IMO. You may vote for a maximum of three.
-
Just voted. :)
-
just voted and, as usual, a first supplement ;) Mio on the beach

Thanks for starting off the supplements, Cebe. Mio on the beach is posted in the UG

^ Fantastic work Captain. :o :) Would have voted for it if it had been submitted initially. :)
-
Thank you, Captain Nemo and Cebe, for all your supplements. The latest six are posted in the Users' Gallery.
Stay tuned for the results in a few minutes ;D
µ
-
Congratulations to Captain Nemo for his winning portrayal of Danniella Levy's rehydration process, cheerleader56.
We are down to only two participating morphers lately, and although those two are masters, it is sad that interest is so reduced. For next month I propose another best-of-the-year poll, along with a discussion of ways to renew interest among morphers and morph fans.
Stay tuned.
µ
-
It's far worse than I thought. 32 people were interested enough to vote, but not one was interested enough to post comments, congratulations, even an acknowledgment. Has the morph contest run its course?
Well, as I announced earlier, next month will be given over to best-of-the-year polls for 2017 and 2018. I intend to start a discussion thread about morphs, and some who are still interested may come up with ideas to revive the contest. One possibility would be to start a thread devoted to morphs: not a contest, but simply a thread were morphers can post their works and anyone who wants can discuss them. No, it won't be in the Morph Requests forum, it'll be here where the general public usually visits. Perhaps there will be a flicker of interest in some who don't usually look for morphs.
µ
-
The themes and the models used as subjects have gotten rather "samey" over the last few contests.
-
^ I agree. :P Perhaps something like …. expanding breasts in the snow ? Winter time ? ??? Or maybe at the office while showing off in a business suit ?
-
You have xmas shopping and then rolled into taxes, but you also had the govt shutdown that had people scrambling for extra work or dependent on govt employees to make a living. So throwing that on top of it may have effected the contest. I am sure it will kick off again after April
-
3deroticer, you bring up points I hadn't thought of, events that hamper morphers in their efforts. But note that they are mostly restricted to Americans, who make up only half of the members here. Still, glad to see you are optimistic.
CarlTL, here are the last ten themes:
walls
fitness
glasses
Playboy
performing artists
Evil!
corsets and lingerie
cars
balconies etc.
water
I don't really see that these are at all "samey". It is true that there is some similarity with earlier contest themes, such as bras, boats and showers. Perhaps we should abandon the principle that the winner names the next theme (and picks themes he likes, which tend to be similar to ones he/she has already chosen). Instead we could set up a battery of possible themes chosen by morphers and morph fans, like those of solvegas. I'll start a thread to collect such suggestions Probably I'll post them in a poll after the thread has run a week or two, so we have a priority list. Other comments will be welcome too. Stay tuned.

when you list them all I immediately thought of those improvisation where someone pick 3 random things and then you had to make a skit out of those things. Just an idea!
