I have a lot of questions regarding BE sequence art. I just recently completed one that was going to be gift art for a friend but the result is horrendous. Here are my questions:

1) How long does it take for you to draw a sequence?
2) Does colouring a sequence seem necessary?
3) How many panels (or pictures) do you prefer the sequence should have?
4) Do you trace the original picture to help make the later frames or do you draw each of them individually?

To anyone that answers my questions or just gives some helpful advice, thank you.

What are you making? An avi (mov, whatever) or a gif?
Format helps determine frame count (as does motion).
Computer movies are 30fps while VHS is 15fps. Gif animations can be frame dependant. One frame can last 3 seconds while the next in the animation lasts only 1/10. I think also your search for a tutorial would be easier if you didn't include sequential in your description. Sequential art is more like storyboarding and comic panels and not necessarily animations.

Ooops, I guess I made this sequence stuff sound like animation. What I ment is that I am doing a BE sequence in a comic sense. It is hand drawn then scanned onto the computer. Sorry for the confusion.

I would not mind doing a .gif though or an .avi. I just need to find a program that will let me take many .bmp or .jpg files and create a video from them.

Ah , depends on what your trying to show...Ive done sequences that were four panels and not colored to 10 colored panels.. Tjs art is a good place to see a nice way of putting them together.  cheers PE
