Photoshop 7 question w/pic...

As you see from this morph, her bustline cuts-off at far right because of the original photo. So, there wasn't much room to work from. The background, however, is pretty solid (it's just a door) so it's an easy morph subject apart from the lack of right-room.
My question is - is there a way to sort of "add on" to the right side of the photo...to expand it, so that there's more room on the sides to work with? There must be with 7. I want to add another 1/2 inch or so and then just 'clone stamp' the backround onto that new area. This way, her chest won't go beyond the frame. Thanks.

Just zoom out, then use the crop tool and highlight the entire photo. Then grab the middle-right square and stretch it as far as you want. Just click the check mark when your done and you'll have more room on the picture.

Increase the canvas size of the picture, rather than the picture itself, or paste this pic onto a bigger "empty" sheet as a new layer. Then, you'll have more room to work.
And lose the liquid door panels in the background if you can, they're a huge giveaway and usually detract from the finished work (imho).

Thanks. Yeah...I know about the liquid effect on the door. Sometimes I feel like fixing it, sometimes not. My usual way of morphing is liquify and clone stamp. I also love to embellish important shadows with dodge/burn/sponge, without going overboard to avoid that fake, 'illustrated' look.
I'm not used to the cut/paste/free transform/layer/mask techniques. Seems like a lot of steps. Should I? I'd actaully love to cut out sections, liquify them, and put them back without touching the uncut sections. How you do dat? Which tutorial specializes in that? If it's a lot of steps, I'll do it.
Thanks for your comments.

My suggestion would be to have a copy of the original image on the layer below your morph. Then remove (delete) the portions of your morphed image (like the door) that you want returned to the original appearance. Zoom in and be very careful when deleting the edges of where you wish to keep your morphed image layer. Flatten the layers later if you wish.
Others would probably use the "Magic Wand Tool", but I have no personal experiance with it.
BTW, The Palette (Forum) is the place for detailed questions about morphing. If your thread is moved, that's why.
