Congratulations on surpassing my episode count Dabbler. I think I'm retired for good this time. Still, those following the Addventure more closely should let me know if any promising shemale celebrity storylines come up.

Great work on the Index Adama. You should anonymously send the URL to Communications professors around the world. I think there is a book/doctoral thesis in this thing.

I was looking for a particular thread.....

I think it involved Jim, and maybe Rick, watching women's basketball or netball at college, and through some type of power, they caused the girl's breasts to enlarge every time they scored.

does this sound familiar to anyone?

if only i'd bookmarked...

New update --

Storyline trees -- notable additions include
  • Superbras
  • Linger the Imp
  • Howard the Salesman
  • The Church of the Holy Monkey
  • BoobCo Castle
  • Necessary Things
  • Stargate SG-1
This effort also finishes off (for now) the Storyline 2 threads, so next time will start the Storyline 3 ("Jim goes to school") threads.

Character Index -- two more months' worth of alphabetical index entries, bringing it up to October 2002.

Linkable episodes -- I didn't have time to do this one on April 1st, so here it is now.

Plus a couple more entries under the Storyline Codes.

Have fun!

Finally!  Jeeze, I've been working on this update all day...

Okay, usual end-of-month update here, folks:
  • Gilroy Sippowitz is far and away the top author for the month, submitting nearly twice as many episodes as Dabbler, the second-place person.
  • Total episodes for the month (after deletions) was 1,172.  A fairly average number.
  • I see that at least one other storyline has managed to push past the 500-ancestor mark, namely the toon-suit SMR thread.  The Moontouched-related thread still seems to be champion for length though.
  • Other than that it's the usual update...

Have fun!

Good job!

Unfortunately, I have some bad news.

I  just missed the update, without even realizing it, and now there's another episode that needs indexing!

Sorry!

I just updated the Index to include your 350,000 episode -- nice nab!  I assume you were referring to that, and not to the test episode that you neglected to sign...  do you want that deleted?

350000 was the one, thank you!

But now I'm really confused.

Did I make a test episode  before the end of the month?

If you're talking about the one I made today, than I'd appreciate it if you delete it.

Once again, thanks!

New storyline additions --
  • A major expansion of the first part of the Storyline 3 page
  • The Tit Terrorists thread
  • Four pages devoted to the Leprechaun thread (this is why this update took so long!)
  • The BE Gun 2 storyline, contributed by FlySpek1947 -- thanks, man!

This update also includes two months' worth of Character Alpha Index updates, bringing it up to December 2002.

More later...

Great update!

BTW, I saw the "?" in the storyline codes.

The "O" in "OCC" stands for "Other."

Congratulations to you and the other authors on that thread, for your retaining of the title.

The threads I'm working on now will never be that long, but I'm proud to say that one day they will be the most fucked-up, due to the linking process I've already started.

Two new features added to the Index --

Dabbler has produced an amazingly thorough listing of all the Backstage threads, as well as detailed information for the Random Sample and Backstage Interlude storylines.  Check it out!  More info to be added later, and contributions will be welcome from anyone who wants to help out (hint, hint Deja Voodoo, FCF, JigSaw, etc....)

Congrats to Dabbler!

In addition to that, I've added the Merger Links page.  This is still very much a work in progress, but I thought I'd take this chance to post what I've got so far.

Enjoy...

Nice!

That's a great idea.

BTW, does the following count? This episode ,  this episode , and  this episode all lead to this integral  episode.

I only ask because it isn't something specified in the rules.

They count, I think.  There are a couple of similar cases in the list already.  I'll check it out and probably add them to the list.

Thanks.

I've actually been gearing these threads for "merging" since the very beginning, but I'll try and hold off until you have it under control.

Shouldn't be too hard, since "holding off" is basically what I've been doing.

If by "under control" you mean that I will have finished the list -- I wouldn't wait.  It'll be months before that happens.

Don't worry.

It'll be months before the LG threads and the CC threads resolve themselves into something even remotely readable.

Hi. My first post here.

I like the idea of the Merger Threads list. Especially since I'm currently writing a thread that sends my character through all the unclaimed episodes that are multiples of 1000. (It started with episode 337006.)

In other threads, I've also had the "Sean" character become every other character named Sean in the whole BE addventure (at least all the ones listed in the character index (except the one most recently added, since he's got a last name)), but that probably wouldn't count.

Yep, I've noticed.    I've been saving off all the "Sean" related links so I can work through them all in one go...  A neat idea for a plot, though.  More power to ya.

There'll be a May update later this evening...

Well, she's done at last -- the May update is posted.  Too sleepy to say much about it this time.

Gilroy Sippowitz again achieved top rank, far outdoing the other folks.  Bonkers came in a surprising second, he usually doesn't produce so much output in a month.

I too need rest, but I still feel the urge to post this.

Do you have any estimates as to when the next update will be?

I'm thinking that I should just write the episodes with the merging, and then email you the html coding for the merger page.

That would be best.  Like I said before, it will be months before the merger page is caught up -- and I'm not even actively looking at 2004 links yet.  It took me since January to do even this much, because I only work on it sporadically (what with everything else I have to do).

Hey Adama, I hardly come here anymore but I wanted to commend you on your brilliant crossover page. I'm especially thrilled as it so prominently features Rachael Leigh Cook and Ms. Hbeorson. Thanks for keeping this up.

Thanks.  That's Sakaki, my favorite character in "Azumanga Daioh", a very funny manga (and a nearly as funny anime).

WHAT!?!?!? You jest....
I've never read the manga but I've seen a few episodes of the Anime. Its just to darn cute/funny... ANd to this day I cannot fathom how it ever made its way to the states... The humor is just way too Japan...(not that I'm saying its bad... I love Japanese Humor... but translation usually butchers the hell out of it..)

In a strange coincidence, I'd never heard of Azumanga Daioh before you mentioned it here, but then I ran across no fewer than three separate references to it all in the same day.  It's cute and has some amusing moments.

In case anyone forgot to look, just as Adama forgot to announce it, the monthly update of his AddVenture Index has been done (in two batches, on July 1 and July 5).  It's got all the usual good stuff, if not a lot of the less usual good stuff.
