Authors, Artists, Morphers, who do you do it for?
« on: August 15, 2001, 08:07:00 AM »
This is a question i have been asking myself for a bit while i have been doing my stories. Who do we do it for, our own pleasure, giving ourselves pleasure while we write/draw/transform or do we do it for the people here who check this community everyday?

Personally i do it for a bit of both, i do it for the people who give me comments on my website. So what about the rest of you. Would be very interesting to see how this goes.

If I don't write what interests me (on the Addventure), I can't get interested enough to write at all. I can't imagine writing about somebody ELSE'S bizarre preferences with any conviction, only my own. That's the trouble around here, and with X-rated material in general: taste in porn is about as specific and inexplicable as taste in FOOD. Even here, with all the boob freaks (Brothers!) there's not enough overlap in preferences. It's difficult to get porn written to order; I know, I've been trying for the last six months, but nobody's game.

Having said that, I do try to "cheat" the material if I am primarily writing for someone's beloved thread, if I can do so without disgusting myself. And I have noticed other Addventure writers doing the same for me. The margin is thin sometimes, but there's usually a BIT of overlap. (Hint: if all else fails, use the phrase "massive tits" a lot--it does tend to focus the readers' attention.)

Hummm, I do it for both myself and "We band of Brothers" as Nelson put it...He was talking Warship Captains...Im talking Boobs!! Nelson liked them too, Lady Hamilton was stacked!   I have always loved Art for arts sake..The finest canvas is the female form in all its glory..Add to that a love of large Breast and here i am... If there were no internet I would still draw. But to see others good works inspires and a word of incouragment now and then helps ..  cheers PE

well here we go, in order of importance:

I love drawing.
I prefer really huge boobs.
I love anime in all its appearances.
Hentai/Boob art can make me more popular and even make me a pocket money to pay my ISP and some neat stuff.

So. I combine these reasons and I get..-taaaaaaadaaaaaaaaa - Hentaibee, the internet anime boob drawing machine

cheers to all breast fans ( lol, anone here isn't ???)

Good answers

You do it for the love of doing it, and for the satisfaction it gives you and others.

I morph so that other people can see them and enjoy them.

I morph because I enjoy mixing fantasy with reality.

I morph to continue learning about working with graphics on a daily basis.

I morph because it's fun.

I morph because I want to.

I write because I enjoy it. And because the stories would CLAW THEIR WAY OUT OF MY HEAD if I did not write them down.

I post my stories because I believe others will enjoy them, and because (false modesty aside) I believe I'm pretty good at it.

Ok, I can almost hear everyone groan from my 1st comment. I couldn't resist! If anyone could say it, it should have been magic -- he seems to live an breath morphing.

Actually, I morph for 3 reasons:
1. For others to enjoy.

2. To give something back to the community.

3. For myself. My right brain really enjoys the workout after a hard day of programming.

I quit a couple of times, but keep coming back to it mostly because of number 3.

Apart from the fact I have massive amounts of free time which even EQ cannot fill, I feel that contributing to something like the Addventure is really satisfying - hopefully both for myself and those that are on threads I post to.

It is also a case of simply wanting to ensure things are how *I* want them to be and the best way to make that happen is to take a hand in the thread.

The original reason (which still stands) is that comic art is an area in which I strive to improve.  When I started here, I had turned 20 and I was very unhappy with my drawing style.  I had honestly not made an entire comic since I was little, and I thought that the best way to improve would be to get moving on a regular basis.

I'm somewhat more happy now, but at least I can stand for people to see my art.  I was so worried about what people would think of Pulse #1 that I almost didn't post it.

One of the reasons I do it is for myself, it's very satistfying when you finish a comic.  I also always try to write comics with themes that I like, which is why even Gundam Wing has BE in it.

The third reason is people- enough seem to like it for me to continue posting the comics that I make.  An amount don't, but you can't please everyone.  When you've got such un-PC comics, you have to expect that.  I like my BE comcs and it's good enough that a percentage of others do also.

........am I the only one who couldn't write my reasons into a short message?

Well, I haven't updated for awhile, but when I do create, it's for me.  I choose models I like (Chloe, Linsey, Candye and other naturals primarily, whom I find easiest to morph), and I morph them the way I like -- as big as I can get them without the boobs becoming SO huge that they look unrealistic.  (That's not to say I won't ever go for room-filling-size tits.  It's just that in my experience these are often unconvincing.  I try them sometimes, but it's rare that I like the result.)

The only time I'm influenced by others is when I look at an unconvincing morph and think, "I can do better than that."  Then I proceed to consider why the morph looks bad (lack of shadows, unnatural shape, graininess, etc.), and how I would've done it.

It's like any other artistic endeavor -- you get the best results if you listen to your own muse, not those of others.

Too much of a good thing is WONDERFUL.  -- Mae West

Hmmmm

A number of reasons some of which had evolved over the years.

I got into morphing many snows ago because the kind of women I fant-a-size about (big muscles, big boobs) don't exist in real life.

I found with SuperPaint (the cave painting of morphs) and later PhotoShop I could create them....after a while I got competant and then when I first got on line I discovered there were other people who also liked my stuff.

It was fun to share (safe too) over the net and the feedback was nice.

I draw stuff I like and share what I think is presentable from time to time.

I morph stuff mostly for the challenge of creating an image that couldn't exist otherwise...but still looks like it could.  I like requests because they are a challenge.

Same deal, though, I have to like it or no one else ever sees it.

Two thoughts...one...you can't do this for the feedback....very few members (and thank you to those of you who do) take the time to compliment people's work.
two....in my mind it is much harder to draw a good cartoon/comic than it is to do a good morph.

Cheers, Coyote
