Woof. The next batch of 35 or so copies went out this morning, I'll be sending emails to everyone whose copy was in that batch. I was hoping to be able to squeeze in a couple of shipments per week, but work has again ramped up and it looks like things will be that way for the forseeable future. I feel really bad about people that order on Sunday or Monday having to wait almost a week before their copy is even shipped, but there really isn't anything I can do about it. Sorry about it, gang.  That being said, I'm really glad you guys are liking it so much!  Thanks very much for the comments, they are really appreciated. They make staying up until 2am after a 12-hour day stuffing envelopes and printing labels worthwhile. Sadistyk, Professor, I keep waiting to get an order from inside my apartment complex; I still haven't figured out if I'd just leave the envelope at their door or actually mail it just for kicks. Recieved my copy saturday morning. I liked it a lot, special effecs are nicely done. Not much more to say, that hasn't been said already. So everyone who hasn't ordered yet, do it now. Safe to say we want a sequel. Warlock we can't thank Rolfe and you enough, but thank you both.

Got my copy the other day. Words can express how great it was, and here I go - pacing and camerawork were both wonderful, the acting was terrific (I have 2 new favorite actresses), and the humor was well-placed and fun. It wasn't shot as a fetish/porn movie, and I think that lightheartedness makes it that much more enjoyable. The only downside, and I'm sure you're getting this nonstop, is that it was so short. Here's hoping for big BIG sales and a possible sequel or spinoff in the future!

Well, I got my copy two days ago and watched. In all the live action BE sequences I saw in my life, this has got to be the best I have ever seen since the one of Jacqueline Hyde. Rolfe Kanefsky has really done himself again. The comedy isn't so bad but I really love how the sequences came out. The actresses did a wonderful job in doing their reactions for them. Overall, I enjoye dit very much and I hope to a sequel or at least another movie from Rolfe that will have BE. But I like what they said in the end of the featurette. What they said is not bad of an idea at all. lol

Yeah, I totally agree dude. Just as soon as I was getting into the vid, it was over . But on the bright side, I really liked how it wasn't filmed to be a porno, but a quirky, humorous movie. It's refreshing to see something like this amongst our over perversion (Not that there is anything wrong with that ^_^ hehehe)
But question, how many copies have you sold so far? I hope the stacks of DVD's in your apartment are progressively smaller ^_^ |

Just recieved my copy today and WOW!
I've been watching the reviews and comments on the board and I have to say that they are pretty much on target. If you visit websites about expanding boobs, you need to order this video. Then Rolfe and The Warlock can start making a sequel.
The acting was very believable and the scenario was perfect for the length of the film. I could go on, but it has already been said!
Thanks to all those involved in making this! It was amazing.

Hey all, sorry I've been absent...work is crazy. And it's going to continue to be crazy for some time. However! That won't stop me from my shipping duties. Another ~25 copies went out this morning, emails to follow later today. And I'm really, really happy you guys (and girls!) like it so much! So far I've only seen one remotely negative comment, and that was essentially 'you could tell it wasn't made on a big budget.' Which doesn't bug me, since in the grand scheme of things it really wasn't. I really appreciate the posts and emails, they're very encouraging. Thank you very much! And now if I may drag out the soapbox a bit; I saw on another forum someone requesting a download link, as they thought $20 was a bit high for such a short film. After I posted and explained to him why this was a bad idea, he came to his senses, pledged to buy a copy and locked the post.  But I'd like to explain to everyone here why downloading is a bad idea. First off, $20 is high for a film of this length. And that's less than we originally talked about charging. Thing is, we had to find an amount that we could possibly make some kind of profit with, given the size of the community. Nobody's really sure of the buying power of this gang of freaks; while we have something like four thousand registered members of the forum, how many of those will buy? We don't know, nobody's ever checked. So we had to cover our asses as much as possible. And as I've said, if I personally make my investment back I'll be amazed. But hell, if enough people buy a copy to show that this kind of thing can make money, and if a sequel gets made, then you might see something like the length of a sequel increase while the price doesn't change. And I guarantee making a longer short would cost a lot more money. In short, it is a bit costly, but it's up to you guys to show us that it doesn't need to be! If we can sell enough to show this whole thing is profitable, well hell, the net cost to you guys could go down. But we need to see that profitability first. As I've said, this is a market test as well as a labor of...love. Second, why people pirate things. See, I understand why people pirate Hollywood movies and music, on a certain level; these industries are still pulling in billions of dollars despite piracy. And they try to screw their customers as much as possible besides, with tactics like the RIAA trying to demand a license for every single digital copy of any song you have on your machine, including whatever's in say a browser cache. So as far as 'sticking it to the MAN' I'm right there with you. I don't think anyone would take that stance against Rolfe and I, but I just wanted to explain how I can understand some of it. There are other reasons people give that I won't go into, because I'll start frothing; leave it at they all come down to 'I don't want to pay for it.' To them I usually ask how they'd feel if their employer didn't want to pay for their labor, but they usually don't care. Anyway. The end result is, this is a very small operation. We're not some big corporation that can absorb a little piracy; every sale matters to us. And the fact is, if you're pirating our short, all you're really accomplishing is to make sure there will never, ever be a sequel. I mean, financial considerations aside, if we're going to put this much work and money into something, for this long, and then once we try to even get our money back on it it's made freely available to all; well, if the community I love so much would be willing to screw me and the folks working their asses off to make something that community would enjoy, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be willing to make anything for that community no matter how much money I had available. As I've said in the past, artists (and producers!) that are driven away don't stop creating, they just stop sharing. Folks, I'll be honest; there is nothing I would like more that to quit my job and set up Stuffed Shirt as a real production company and just keep making BE movies and giving the BE world a steady stream of new, professional work. But if that same community won't even show appreciaton for my effort by paying for it; I won't even try to continue doing it as a hobby. If it makes any difference, I'm pretty sure Rolfe feels the same way. He worked his ass off to make this movie, called in a lot of favors, took a huge risk just to see if there was money to be made here. And if you show him that no, the BE community prefers to just take what it wants; well, he'll walk away, and it wouldn't suprise me if he stopped putting BE gags into the rest of his movies, since he knows what would happen to them. I hate to sound cliched, but if you're pirating stuff, you're only hurting the community, and making sure you'll get less content in the future. Thanks to anyone that read all this way. The Warlock |

By the way. I don't want to put anything down. Rolfe's made a great job and this is great for all BE fans but... Don't you think the shape of growing and grown boobs in the short are a bit strange? I mean, BE in Jacqueline Hyde is great, one of the best i've ever seen but here boobs look like there's something between the flesh and the shirt... I can't explain it. It's just something strange.

Hey everyone, I'm thinking about getting it Mood Boobs, and While I've read the reviews, and am deffently leaning towards getting it, I was wondering about some things before I do. Simply put, I'm wondering if it's a "Shelf" movie or a "Closet" movie, meaning is it something you would keep on your DVD rack next to "Dr. No" and "LOTR" or would it be in the closet, with the skin mags? There's nothing on the case to suggest that it's something nasty, apart from "Boobs" in big capital letters, the only way someone is going to get an idea of what it's about is to look at the back, as far as I'm concered it's a lot safer than a dirty shame and I keep that in my normal collection, well actually it's my only collection, what I'm trying to say is, it sits next to my LOTR/Spiderman/whatever.

Argh! Sorry I've neen so quiet you guys, work has been absolutely insane, 80+ hour weeks etc etc. It's been all I can do to just get orders out; working so much makes getting to the post office tough sometimes. Anyway! Sales are still doing pretty well (although they could always be better ) and so far nobody's been unsatisfied (that I know of anyway)! More interestingly, when the trailer went up this is what Rolfe had to say over at JR's forum: Quote:

So, if you're on the fence, look at it like this; your $23 is an investment for a BE feature film. I know more people would be willing to pay $25 for a full-length movie like this; if you want to see it happen, show Rolfe you want it to. I sure as hell want it to! Show the man there's a market and who knows what can happen.

Hi! I'm just curious as to how well Mood Boobs is doing saleswise and like many other enthusiasts hope that it does well enough for a sequel to develop (pun fully intended).
I visited the website, and was very tempted. Then I watched the trailer on youtube. Then I watched it again. And again. And again.
So, the first thing I did with my latest paycheck was create a paypal account specifically to order this short! And while I haven't been waiting as long for it as some people on this thread, I'm journeying through that twilight zone where I'm waiting for my copy. And yes. I want it now lol.
And then after I've watched it enough times to burn it into my memory and have to replace the disc, I'll pray that the market continues to glut itself on this short in order to make a sequel. Yippie for BE!
So, numbers still going strong?

Heh, I guess that depends on your definition of 'strong.' Sales are steady, which I think is a good thing; when the pirated clips went up on youtube sales stopped. Literally, they just stopped. Since the trailer went up and the pirated clips came down, sales have been pretty steady at about ten copies per week. I'm pretty certain we've passed 300 copies sold now. So we're doing okay, but if you have friends you haven't told about it, I'd appreciate it if you did. The Warlock |
