I ask this knowing all-too-well how hard it is to get anyone to do anything, especially on a volunteer basis here, with so many users happy to treat the forum (and presumably the internet as a whole) as a source of passive entertainment, rather than as an interactive thing, but...

Would anyone be interested in resuming/running the morph contest in much the same fashion that Carl did? It's not a vastly time-consuming job, but whomever manages the contest should only do so because they WANT to do it, in an ongoing/monthly fashion, and because they feel that the friendly and competitive rivalry it fosters is a good thing for morphers who participate and of course for all the rest of us who enjoy being spectators.

If you think that you'd like to do this, again: using the technique/procedures that Carl developed over time more-or-less, please drop gonZo or myself a PM to discuss it. We'd be happy to see this resume and think that most users would enjoy it too. Thanks. :)

Bumping and temporarily unlocking this thread in case there's some interest in re-starting a morph contest.

We do too.
But now that we're holding contests again, I have to re-lock this thread.
