TO PALOMINE.....this is talk[writing] on the form....this would have to be done in person one on one...that person could never say I AM FROM BEA ....they would have to start a fan page or yahoo group they we join or go to independent of BEA...everone here are members to other websites ,blog, groups,you tube, and forms etc...that has nothing to do with this place....this is an exercise in HOW TO?WHAT IF? If it's a case of how-to/what-if, then make that clear every time you comment about it. Up until this post, it sounds like you've been planning to do it yourself or encouraging somebody else to do it. I am in the middle here. I do think ionej's plan seems a little sophomoric and ill-conceived. I would not do it myself. But at the same time I do not support all the jumping on his case, which seems like some light bullying to me. Especially since the jumpers really have no evidence, and only a guess, that any approach, no matter how dignified, is going to cause her to clam up and never allow herself to be photographed in public again. (It seems highly unlikely that she would be able to even execute such a plan, since she is a public figure as a radio show host. This is not like some unknown pedestrian being stalked by the BEA paparazzi. How could NQ *never* go out in public again? Making public appearances is part of her job. Or how could she shut down her facepage?? Her fans expect her to be there, posting regular photos of what is going on in her life.).
Let's not forget that Shelly Jamison went from TV reporter (a profession similar to Nancy's, but one that requires even more respectability) to nude model in a heartbeat. And it was, IMO, one of the best things that ever happened to big bust photography. She has really unique breasts which would have been lost to the world if no one had dared to ask.
And bear in mind that Shelley's shoot was in the 1980s, fast-forward to today when just about every legit actress has done tasteful nudes, or at least appeared nude ... not to mention "amateurs": the entire Gen Y practically tweeting out and posting on a face place their nude party photos, Brett Farve tweeting out his penis, for heaven sake.
if she had a good PR agent, would be easy to spin this and keep her job. Either you do a photo shoot where they spin it as "Fifty and Sexy" or "FM DJ Strikes Blow for Middle-Aged Women Everywhere" ... or she lets a few candids for her husband "leak" and she becomes especially famous.
And she has a steady job *now* ... but with Internet radio quickly replacing terrestrial, "voice-tracking" replacing live, syndicated replacing local, how long can that good job be guaranteed? She recently posted on her faceyplace a farewell message to one of her colleagues who worked there for a long time, with no explanation of what radio station that colleague was going to. Sounds to me like the old "radio shuffle" that has been going on the past 10 years and is likely to continue.
In summary: good for you if you can count yourself as "not a stalker", "not a perv" etc. But I don't see how there can be a "formula" in these matters. Every potential find has to be treated on a case-by-case basis.

Use some common sense.
She is 50+ with a 20+ son and from what I've seen and read not exactly miss "let's taste it all there is in life". any kind of approach in that matter would if not be disastrous from the point of her sharing pics over the net, then the chances of her to accept such offer are close to zero. Much more danger of harm than any chance of success. It's a weird world we live in today but still she's not 20 single and weirdo.

Volcano ten, please read the rules carefully. That is about the worst thing that could happen. Now if we find a pic of her, we can post it with little chance of violating a rule. If Daltari were involved, we would be uncertain of ever finding a picture we could post. Pal adds: yes, I agree with PB of course since the BEA Owner and his mods have been saying the exact same thing for years. Should volcano_ten's ill-advised plan ever negatively impact the BEA's rules (i.e.: make them longer due to attention he draws to our formerly-discreet little corner of the 'net) please rest assured that we will memorialize his act by naming the new rule after him (he'll also be banned of course).
If you do something that you've been asked not to do by the BEA Owner that later results in legal trouble for the site, you'll no longer be welcome in this community. |

It's a common human nature element -- there's always been people who think that others will do something simply because they want them to.
