Some positive news from the Emerald Isle:

"Ireland set to elect 38-year-old gay Asian as Prime Minister"
I do like the way the world s changing. My belief in personal freedoms includes someone's sexual preference.

Everything fine, except for the official Whitehouse press releases. There was a picture taken with only the life partners / married partners of the European leaders when Trumpel was in Europe.

The partner of the Luxembourg prime minister happens to be a man (it's a gay couple). The result of it was the press relase of the Whitehouse named each of the female partners but not the gay partner.

I'm sometimes asking myself about the current Whithouse inhabitants and staff: Does being stupid come natural to them or do they have to work at it?

My God. Did that really happen?!?!

When the leaders of other nations are making fun of you....

Nordic prime ministers troll Trump's viral orb photograph - The Guardian (UK), 5/30/17

At a meeting in Bergen, Norway, to discuss cooperation among their countries, the five heads of government came up with their own version of the photo, and stuck it on social media. On her **24** page, Norway’s Solberg made the comparison explicit.

"Who rules the world? Riyadh vs Bergen," Solberg wrote under the Trump photo and the photo of her and her fellow Nordic leaders.

"Don’t know what those in the upper photo were thinking," she wrote. "In the lower one are the five Nordic prime ministers, holding a ball with the sustainability goals. We’re hoping they’ll be a roadmap for the future."

L to R: Sweden’s PM Stefan Lofven with Lars Lokke Rasmussen of Denmark, Erna Solberg of Norway, Juha Sipila of Finland and Bjarni Benediktsson of Iceland.

The NATO meeting was just an extension of how he is being treated by the upper-crust of New York society...they will never let him play in all their reindeer games.

My, what a difference a few years (and replacing a classy man with a boorish bullying blowhard) makes...

Ah, I see that that shy wallflower Robert deNiro gave a commencement speech at Brown University the other day.

Not exactly. Excluding him from the games has to-do with how he treated others. Would he and his staff have a behaviour like normal socialized people rather than cavemen then it would be a problem at all. But who of the leaders of the democratic western world wants to play reindeer games with cavemen from the US.

Exactly. The most amazing thing is, if he had properly divested himself of his business interests the way any normal human being would have done in the same position, and if he hadn't had neo-Nazis and white supremacists and his close relatives as his advisers, and if he were to at least try and understand just how important his position is and not try to be an unelected king, he might even start to be a fairly good president.

Unfortunately, if wishes were horses...

This video is very sobering:

MSNBC's The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell: "Former CIA Director On Jared Kushner Russia News: 'Is This A Prank?'"

Something that a commenter on the video said is worth some attention:

Quote

One of the most important points made by John McLaughlin: This administration has acted with hubris toward the important institutions that support our democracy. On every level they have acted with contempt for our judiciary, our relationships with our neighbors, our protection of public land and shown us a taste of the sort of out and out corrupt theft by public officials that exists in Russia. We won the Cold War for these petty con men to sink our ship?

So Trumpel quits the clima contract. This is good for the rest of the world. We can now officially place or raise custom duties on American products, because of unfair clima damaging production conditions.

How does his own medicine taste?

Pulling out of Paris probably won't have as big an economic effect as Trump might think. Many states and cities - and businesses - know which way the wind is blowing and are continuing to take their own steps to combat global warming. Heard a brief interview with a senior VP from Mars Co. (the candy people) this afternoon, and they will continue to fight global warming because of the threat to their supply chains. Heck, ANY company that deals in any way with food or agricultural products does NOT want global warming to fuck around with crops.

The other countries that aren't part of the Accords? Well, Syria's in the middle of a civil war. And Nicaragua didn't sign on because they think the Accords weren't tough enough.

What Trump just did (as a lot of places like Wonkette and HuffPo are putting it) was tell the rest of the world to Drop Dead; the US doesn't care about you.

This decision, along with his recent comments about NATO, are making it painfully clear to the rest of the world that under Trump, the US is Not To Be Trusted. They can't rely on us to keep any agreements from one administration to the next, they probably shouldn't turn to us in time of crisis. I can't think of any president since the US strode out onto the world stage a century ago that has done this much damage to our international reputation. We've had corrupt, incompetent, and even isolationist administrations, but we've never completely turned our back on the rest of the world or told them to Fuck Off like this.

Even Exxon-Mobil, whose CEO is now Secy. of State, knows that their long-term prosperity will be affected if the Paris accords are not honored by the US.

And who benefits the most from a Know-Nothing, Do-Nothing "Fortress USA"? That's right: Russia.

Well you are right. All of Trumpels junta administration decisions make the United States look like a country of traitors and back stabbers not to be trusted. While thus is no reason for impeachment or any concern of Trumpel fans that live in a place in that man the sun has never seen it must be a pain in the ass for those people that didn't vote for him to be imprisoned by that cuckoo decisions.

Two out of three activists / investigative journalists that were working under cover to reveal production conditions in China for goods produced for Ivanka Trump labels disappeared. The third investigative jounalist got arrested by Chinese police.

Unbelieveable what in and around this Trumpel clan happens.

Okay. Lets be friends.... really. Lets not fight and argue just for the sake of it. There needs to be a middle point somewhere.

But think about what you are doing. Now, all the sudden, its "sane" and "rational" to consider the kinds of things youre suggesting to be true. Theyre not "conspiracy theories" anymore right? No one is going to come at you pissed off and call you tin foil hat names and ask for links, theyre just going to go along with what you are saying simply because... its against Trump.

The Never Trumpers on one side vs the Trump train on the other. Frankly, I think both sides are [insert intelligence insult here].

As much as the Never Trumpers want to pretend and say things like "this isnt partisan politics" or "this isnt about your person winning anymore"..... thats bullshit.

If people want to bitch about Trump, I think they should do so honestly. The things people are getting on Trump on, they defended to their grave when it came to Hillary and Obama. And yes, people who gave Hillary and Obama shit are now defending Trump doing it. BOTH sides are wrong.

Trump/Russia collusion not a tin foil hat nutjob left wing conspiracy theory??? Trumps admin is now getting rid of activists/journalists/people against his administration but Hillary and Obama NEVER did that?

For those that are willing to pay for independent journalism (not influenced by threats of right wing lobbyists or in danger of being a target of US right wing extremist ratfucking campaingns) made in Germany the link to the article that backup what I said:
