My name comes from the book "Cloud Atlas" by David Mitchell, which is what I was reading when I created this account. She' a genetically engineer fast food worker in a dystopian future in one of the nested short stories in the book. (Read it! its awesome)

I could try and tie in some meaning to it, but its just an anonymous name :)

I didn't want a name with a bunch of numbers behind it.  So, I made up capn potato.

someone else made this monicker for me, because Yamato is the oldest name for (a province that later became) Japan, she figured this would be good for me :D

My name is a miss-typed amalgam of an old MUDing name which I often use in other online contexts and a race of "bad guys" from a series of books I loved as a **50**.  Oh yeah, I'm a big ol' dorky geek.  Unfortunately, when I signed up I miss-typed my display name, and now there's no way to change it.  Oh well...

Dom is short foe my name Dominick. The 25 was my age when I signed up. I'm 34 now. 77 is the year I was born, but also my number in football my senior year in high school.

more seriously,
Bad Kitty is an outlet for some of the more perverse/erotica-oriented facets of myself. There are many many other facets.

Yamato was also the largest battleship ever made.

I got my name from Al Bundy because I work in a women's shoe store and read Big Un's magazine.
