A note about this Board

We've had to remove The Plume board temporarily to address some problems in it.
We've created this new board to take its place during this process.
As they're cleared of problems, threads are being moved from the old board to this one.
We'll reset the name of this board to The Plume when the process is completed.

Just to elaborate a bit: changes in-progress to The Plume are the first step in a necessary review of posted content. The majority of items that may get modified are older posts: things that were put up at least 5-6 years ago. Very few recent posts are likely to be edited, though a few 'legacy' items (URLs in signatures, etc...) might have to be changed. As long-time users know, the Rules were more relaxed several years ago, and some items that were deemed acceptable or borderline back then are actually creating legal liability now (since posts remain online indefinitely). So, we're reviewing older material to make sure it conforms to current policies so that the BEA can stay safe and continue to remain available to everyone for years to come.

Any specific amendments to the site Rules will be posted in the pinned Rule Change thread: http://forum.bearchive.com/index.php/topic,9982777.0.html if/when they arise. Every user is responsible for being up-to-date on the Rules as they evolve and site management appreciates your cooperation. Thanks.
