How're people enjoying T&A?

Hey all!

I saw the new T&A issue has been posted! I haven't gotten my copy yet, but just wanted to check in and see if people were still enjoying the series. Once I get my copy I'll finish writing the next installment and get it over to the team.

As always, any feedback is appreciated and considered!

Yeah, what was posted ended with Diana making a first wish, then the dreaded "to be continued..."

Ha, well, there will be another "to be continued..." but I didn't write it to be there. Let's hope the other half gets posted at the end of the month.

I like the T&A stories, but the comic posted on 1/29 was mis-categorized.  There isn't any "WOW"-sized growth in that chapter.

I agree. I think what happens is that the categories get applied to the material submitted in total. Since what was posted only encompassed the first 5 pages of the 10 page script I sent over, I assume that the categories listed are meant to apply to what will be coming in Part 2...whenever that gets posted.

Not saying I agree with the system, but I have definately seen the same thing happens for multiple parts of other ongoing comics.

Thanks so much for the feedback! I'm loving writing the series and figuring out how to address each new problem I throw at them!

Your quandary will be answered in the next part of "Before and After" that I know must be floating around somewhere on the admin side of the BESC. I've more outlines ready that I will be turning into the scripts for the next part shortly!

T&A, through its multiple parts so far, has risen to be my all-time favorite series in the BESC.  It started well (and was in my top 10 or 15 or so even after part 1), but just got better with each installment - it's the continuing twists, and the infinite possibilities of genie powers I think, which keep me completely guessing as to what will happen next.

And I will report that I was not disappointed by the new chapter (at least, once it became available for download).

Of course, now I can't wait for the next installment, which is set up beautifully. Fingers crossed for someone -- or maybe more than one person -- to transform into what they're dressed up as.

Haha, sounds like that was the last of the script I sent over. Glad it was enjoyed, thanks! I still haven't gotten my copy yet, but once I do and I check that there aren't any edits I have to account for in my next set I'll get those finished and sent in.

And I don't think my plans will dissapoint you...

I'm loving where this story is heading.  I see lots of fun wishes in the future.  I hope we don't have to wait long for the next part, i really wait to read it.

So glad you are enjoying it! I hope you find the wishes I have planned fun.

I am still writing the scripts for the next part (they've had a few rewrites - fitting in a BE scene every 10 pages and have it make sense is getting harder!) and there are a few other items I'm waiting to sort out, but do know it is being worked on!

Catfish - Ha, can't say I know what the rules would be on that. Regarding my removed post that was certainly a violation of the rules and I completely agree with Palomine removing it (we had a very nice chat about everything). But I really do appreciate any help regarding the new project - we're far from where I need to be.

MunchWolf - Much of the plans for http://www.exiern.com/ will depend on the new writer (auditions for that pending), but personally I would like to see more magic and spells. But I don't want to make Exiern something it isn't. But I CAN do some what-if scenarios in the http://www.escarchive.com/ section, particularly scenarios that readers here might appreciate. But we'll have to see.

Crud. Sorry, I'm not trying to be a pain. It's okay to delete, if it's really on the line just remove it.

No more stuff like that from me, I promise. I'm really not trying to be a thorn, really.

Pal replies: we're not angry or anything like that Dan... we're just obligated to apply the Owner's policies consistently: all users must abide by the same set of rules enforced the same way. Users are welcome to sell anything (within reason/common sense limits: human organs NO, cell phones YES) including their own original creative works. Heck, we LIKE and ENCOURAGE that: artists, authors, etc... ought to be able to use the BEA Forums to earn a little cash (if they choose) to compensate them a bit for their time and talent.

HOWEVER, this means an offer to sell something that already exists. Any sort of pay-me-in-advance-for-a-product-I'll-create-later smells too much like a donation (even though it's offered with a promise of an eventual 'product') for it to be OK per the intent of the Owner's policy... that sort of thing is not unlike the 'donate-to-my-breast-augmentation-fund-and-I'll-send-photos-after-surgery' which is also not allowed.

For anyone who wants to check it out, pages from TIME AND AGAIN are now starting to post in the Exiern membership site http://www.escarchive.com/

Page 1 is posted already, and a subsequent page will post every other Wednesday. After the existing pages have finished new ones will immediately start. I also have another comic, HELD WITHIN, that posts on alternating Wednesdays.
