Yeah, the sizing parameters in the [IMG] coding on this forum doesn't work. It automatically shrinks any image you link from outside the BEA website, into a small little image.
A person can right click on the little image and select "view image" to see it full size, but it's not going to display at the size you want in the forum post itself.
Other options:
if you 'upload' a picture, then it still reduces the size of the image, but it doesn't end up as small. It turns out like a small-ish picture instead of a thumbnail. And all anyone has to do to see it full size, is left click on it, which brings up a pop-up window with the image at full size.
if you really want an image in your post, which is an exact size, then the way to do it is this:
- first, change the image itself, so that it is the exact dimensions you want it to be. You can do this in pretty much any type of photo editing software.
- second, upload it to the BEA forum, you can upload it right there in the post you want it to appear in, or really anywhere on the forum. The key is to have it ON the forum's image database.
- third, link to that image location (the one ON the BEA's image database), using the [IMG] tags in your post. If the image is on the forum's own database, then the [IMG] tags will display it at it's full size, instead of as a thumbnail.
**if you want to do all of that in one forum post, then size your image in a picture editing program, write your post, upload your image to the post (which will make a small picture at the bottom of your post), then submit your post. Once you've done that, look at the post you've made, click on the small uploaded image link, which will open a popup with your picture at full size. Click in the URL field at the top of your popup window, right click *copy*, then edit your post, stick that copied URL location for the image in your post, and put the [IMG] tags around it. Then your post will have your image, at the size you want, displayed by default, with a smaller version of the image below your post in the 'uploaded images' area at the bottom.** (I did that with the FATALITY png which is on the page you linked to, because I thought it had more visual impact at it's full size
