Great. Now let's see you post an attachment. I don't know how to do that yet. I assume you can. Ditto! In fact, I'd like to know how using the forum and BEA Chat work from it... it's running a cut-down version of Safari, right? It supports javascrip+? Can you use it for gmail? Me so nosy. -Palomine It's a mobil version of Safari, so I assume it supports **10** and other web standards. It works fine for Yahoo mail and www.fastmail.fm so I guess it'll work fine for Gmail. I don't think there's anything special about it. The forum looks fine with it but you want might want to use that finger gesture thing to enlarge the webpage. You have to remember that the screen is small. If you clicked on an attached picture in a post it opens in another window. I wasn't able to save any but that could be because I don't know how. I haven't tried the chatroom. I'll try it sometime this week.

javascrip+ is censored? Yeah. That prevents anyone from executing it in a forum post.

Does anyone else have problems posting pictures with their iPod Touch on here? I click the attachment bar but my keyboard never comes up so I can't type in the file I want to attach.I enlarge the screen as big as possible and my keyboard never comes up.I can put a link from a website but I just want to post pics from my library. I try the cut-copy-paste but to no avail. Any suggestions?

I still haven't figured out how to post an attachment either. SwitcherX, to save (any) picture tap and hold your finger on the picture u want to save for about a second or two, it'll bring up a menu. Click "save picture/photo" I'm posting this right now from my iPhone......

You can't post attachments from Safari running on iPods/iPhones/iPads. The "Choose File" button in the posting form is disabled. Even if it were not, the file system isn't browsable via Safari, so there would be no way to choose an image.

Finally!!! Downloaded the ios 6 update and can finally post pictures on here. They said in the update that Java was improved or something like that.I know most users are on a desktop or laptop but there are a few of us who only use a mobile like a Touch or IPhone. It makes for a better experience coming on here and contributing a picture here or there.

Late to the party, but it's probably worth noting that there's a dedicated Gmail client in the App Store. Of course, you could also just use the native Mail client, but you would lose certain Gmail-specific features, such as being able to add multiple labels, or being able to flag an email as spam (ie, train Gmail to recognize an email as such).
