I didn't know where to talk about/post this, but in my mind we're kind of experiencing a big implant renaissance? Like, lots of models getting up to huge sizes and they're not even like, doing it for porn or modeling reasons. So it's a great time to love boobs?

Yes this is part of what is going on. And the majority of it happens outside of the BEA elsewhere - unfortunately. And many of them do participate, but not here.
Anti-social behaviours lack consideration for the well-being of others. Any types of conduct that violates basic rights (human rights is one of them) of another person. It can show as covert or overt hostility.

Seriously??

I wasn't going to get into this conversation - although I've been quietly around for many years, I am not a regular provider of content, so I feel a bit awkward saying something critical of those who do. However, I have to say I am finding it quite frustrating to see so many threads dedicated to models we've all loved popping to the top of the forum. You immediately think "ahaa - new content or news, maybe they're making a comeback" and then click to find that the post that's resurrected the thread is just a 'no words, ancient library picture' post

Mod edit to ask: and how is that harmful? 90% of the BB models are retired... meaning that the total group of BB models still/active today are just a small fraction of all BB models ever. Is there something wrong with users who still enjoy, discuss, post pix of models that are no longer working? Or must we separate retired models into a separate sub-forum, which will only make more work for mods? I don't see the point of your complaint. If you're not interested in Roberta Pedon or Danuta Lato or Arlene Bell, just don't click on the threads about them... since you know they haven't made a comeback.
That wasn't really my point, but as (after several tries) I don't seem to be able to muster the loquacity to put it properly, I'll simmer down again.

Pal replies: I'm sorry if I've misunderstood your point. I read what you wrote, and tried to respond to it specifically. You seemed to say you were frustrated when a thread of a model pops to the top of the forum because someone's bumped it by adding a photo... and in the case of a retired model, there's a chance that photo has already been seen by long-time users. I replied by acknowledging that that does happen, but asking how it actually hurts anyone. I think it's important to remember that though many of us have been here for years, there are new users coming online all the time, and to some of them, Arlene Bell, Roberta Pedon, etc... are wonderful new discoveries.

No, you haven't misunderstood really. On reflection, my grumbling was coming from an unreasonably personal viewpoint of what constitutes 'new' and 'old' and 'justifiable bump'. The reason I can't express it properly is rather because it's not a good point and I therefore declare myself out of order!

No need for such a declaration. :)

It might just be my OCD talking, or my archivist/collector/organizer genetic predisposition, but personally, I myself wouldn't mind if all definitely retired models (say, not having produced any new work within the past several years) were in a separate sub-forum... so that users who aren't interested in them could just avoid that forum completely. Whether such a thing ever happens here... given the considerable amount of work it'd involve... I have no idea.

Just saw a pic of Pandora Peaks - now we have all sorts of ladies that big or bigger, which is kind of mind boggling. The new average indeed  ;D

I'm pretty okay with the ladies not coming here though - there's just... well, we just can't count on everyone behaving so we can't have nice things. So much like me in the club, I prefer to look from afar.

I think it's a really bad idea, I dislike it when forums become overly fragmented for the sake of slight differences in categorization. Who can we say for sure is definitely retired, apart from models who've passed away? (unless modelling from beyond the grave becomes a thing) And why would anyone want to avoid retired models? Who can say with certainty that they've seen every photo they need to see of their favourite retired models?

Also, I think with the homemade ease of webcamming, custom clips and other modern trends, there's possibly less need to definitively retire and draw a line in the sand. Maybe more incentive for comebacks too. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that a few specific models might return.

Besides, in my new role of 'taxonomist', sorting through old threads for merging, I have come across a poster Munchwolf who posted a host of one liners followed by a quip inserted into his name (Munch 'time for a quip' Wolf  etc), Is this any worse than posting a picture in a thread without a ream of dialogue?

Damn that guy

Hey there Munch. Nice to see you still are around and kicking.

From that server index number on that image it looks to have been here at the BEA around April or May 2004.
Ah, the good old days of the BEA...

I just want to point out that in a thread complaining that we never discuss substance, 19 members posted 43 times.   ::)
