is there a way to use snapchat from a desktop computer?

Google text is : "Snapchat Online allows you to use snapchat on your computer."

It's just one example of the many you'll find when searching the term I posted above.

FYI: I don't use SnapChat as my phone refuses to install it
(that's what happens when a phone, mine in this case, is three years "old" LOL ; I'm
certainly not going to buy a new phone just to be able to install SnapChat)

The installation on a phone (or tablet, I guess) is a prerequisite to get a username and
password for a working installation on the phone (and/or tablet, I guess)
After one has a working installation, log-in from (desktop-) PC can be done using the
afore mentioned username and password.

Can anybody else actually corroborate this? I saw this website too, but it looked pretty suspicious to me. I don't mean to call out anybody on this board as being malicious or anything, but I've seen hundreds of websites like this over the years...

Can't get any of these sites or android emulators to work. Don't know if its suspicious but it simply doesn't work.

Exactly how does Snapchat work?  I added "himiwako" as a friend, and I see it says pending under her status, and I never see anything.  I've added other users and even though it still says pending I can see content.  I don't get it?

I think they still are...take a month off from any pics or video and come back and youd notice it more I think.
Thats why I liked the i.g. pics... they are time/date stamped and you can see the progression!
but for some reason she hasnt put any up in a couple weeks.
