I have Munchwolf's phone number and email address as I had planned on hiring him a few years ago when he was jobless, but he got better!

If we haven't seen him in a few days, I'll reach out.

For any who may be concerned, PedonBio is alive, well and very busy. And part of his busy-ness, he tells me, is due to problems with his internet service. Except for that, all is well.

(Actually, I just wanted to brag that I know PedonBio off-site.)

Mod edit: thanks very much for reaching out Robin. :) -Pal

I've pooted out a few more emails, but I've no idea if they're working addys, given that they were in user's forum profiles.

Will any/everyone in touch with ANY/ALL of our old pals (i.e.: PedonBio, Zorro, and/or the 5 or 6 other long-timers whose names escape me atm due to late night movie (The Martian) and wine) PLEASE touch base with our absent brethren and convey our wishes for their safe and speedy return?

If any of them need help, they're welcome to email us at [email protected] ...thanks very much! :)

Added later: I did get in touch with Sam V, who will be back when he gets his PC sorted out. :)

This may be irony, but does anyone know if Palomine himself is ok?  He hasn't been active since March 20, and I'm beginning to get worried.  This place isn't the same without him.   :(

As we've written elsewhere, circumstances have prevented Pal from coming to the forum for several months. I haven't checked with him in the last few weeks to see how it's going, and I can't discuss the nature of the problems he's having, but presumably he's still dealing with them.

I wish him all the luck in the world in dealing with his problems, whatever they are.   :)

PedonBio is well. (S)he and I are in touch over social media.

It does seem that the change in site format coinicided with some well-respected, longtime members to take less interest, or even drop out. In my own experience, I just get out of the habit. The period during the change-over took the BEA out of my general daily routine.

And coming back, I did wonder if my gazillion saved photos of Wendy, Dixie, freaking amazing Dana, Rhian -- if that were not enough, and I didn't need any more. In fact, I spent some time cleaning out my files.

I suspect that others might feel the same way. Interruption during the change-over gave us opportunity to reflect on the amount of time we spend on the BEA: what we want from it and what we want to contribute.

Or -- old-timers may still be here but under new names.
