andrat I'm glad you've made it to this point, and you have our sympathy on the difficult road it's been for you.  Hopefully Gparted can do the job for you.  Then you'll be able to put this all behind you and your system will be running faster and leaner than it was last year.  And you can rebuild your collection.  I only have a few files still missing from my great hard drive crash of 2010, but it's okay because better things have come along since.   8)

For moving the recovery partition I didn't use Gparted.
I used the windows program EaseUS Partition Master 12.5

It did the job smoothly.

And what I also learned. The WD Red NOISE at 6 TB was loud but OK, the WD Red 8 TB was a lot louder, vibration was an issue, loud head movements. The Seagate Ironwolf 10 TB are more silent than the 6 TB WD Red.

Well for me, its Samsung SSD, my desktop is fast as hell!

A RAID of SSDs would be crazy-fast, but also crazy-expensive. A 4 TB Samsung SSD 850 EVO 2.5" SATA III (MZ-75E4TOB/AM) drive costs US$1,600!

Well. Right now 1TB primary disk and 2TB secondary disk is enough for me. The rest goes to my NAS.
Unless you earn 10k$ net income per month with your PC, building a RAID with 4TB SSD's  (or bigger ones in the future) is a bit over the top in my opinion.
