How rude of me not to answer. I did not see this thread until now and I apologize for my negligence. 2017 has been alright for me personally but other family members have not been so lucky. My sister that lives in Santa Rosa, California, was ground zero for the massive wildfires that hit last month and her home burned to the ground, my 93 year old dad's dementia keeps getting worse and it's difficult to carry a good conversation with him, my older brother's knees are useless and he needs to use a wheelchair and my younger brother's youngest daughter broke up with a loser that unfortunately introduced her to some seriously bad shit drugs. On the better news, I lost 80 pounds of weight and been able to keep it off for the last two years so at least something is going OK. So 2017 follows the old Chinese curse that may you live in interesting times.
