Well Merriam-Webster is the very definition of 'woke' dictionary, or it was, they have probably changed the definition of that too!
They are very quick to change definitions to fit the woke agenda, you would not catch the Oxford English Dictionary doing that!
They did the same thing with the definition of 'racism' , which was fine as it was, as a matter of fact they have probably changed the definition another two times since I began typing this...

A woman is an adult human female
A man is an adult human male
Men cannot get pregnant
Sex is determined by gametes, men produce sperm, women produce eggs.
A person can be 'trans' with respect to the fact that they 'feel' the opposite of their biological sex, but that is it. They cannot actually be the opposite sex to how they were born. Quite frankly I am tired of these so-called progressive types telling people they are bigots because they don't agree with them. No-one is denying their existence, we just don't agree with their position. Trans is gender dysphoria, a recognised psychological condition. Similar to OCD in many ways.
How exactly, with no frame of reference does one 'feel' the opposite to what they were born anyway? Everyone is different, a woman can enjoy anything, how exactly does one pin down what a woman id psychologically? Is there some checklist I am not aware of? Obviously women tend to be more empathetic and men more aggressive, but this is not across the board.
Simply put, feelings aren't facts, and the only way to truly define someone without ambiguity is by their biology.
Most people feel that way, both on the left and the right, the problem is that the woke progressives keep trying to push it further and further.
