On that Maury episode they even showed her being wheeled into surgery at the end of the show and they ended it right before the anesthesiologist put her under, so she got it done. She also said she has a son with Down's Syndrome that she wants to spend more time with. So I am happy for Tawny but also miss her.

I saw the 'People's Court' episode where a judge ruled in Tawney's favor and dismissed the lawsuit by Shimkonis. Nothing really special in that episode except where the bailiff was asked to estimate the weight of Tawney's breasts! (she underestimaeted actually - she guessed about two pounds each. I think it would be more like ten).

The woman known professionally as Tawny Peaks said on Wednesday she recently came across the implants in a box in her closet after watching a television discussion about crazy things sold on eBay and decided, "Why not ... I don't need it any more."
"Somebody might bid on it. It's like the first boob to be sued over in a lawsuit," she said.
Peaks said she would autograph the auctioned implant for the winner but would keep its mate "for good measure."
She explained that she had her size 69-HH implants removed and underwent breast reduction surgery in 1999 after retiring from the business to start a new life.
"They were like really big, crazy big," said Peaks, who described herself as a happily married homemaker and mother of three now living in the Detroit area.
Peaks won notoriety in 1998 when a man sued her and her employer, the Diamond Dolls nightclub in Clearwater, Florida, saying he suffered a whiplash injury when she swung her breasts into his face at a bachelor party. He said they were "like two cement blocks."
The parties accepted binding arbitration on "The People's Court" television show and the judge, former New York City Mayor Ed Koch, ordered a female bailiff to examine Peaks in private.
The bailiff found the breasts to be "soft" and to weigh about 2 pounds (0.9 kg) each. Koch ruled they were not dangerous and refused to award damages.
The implant auction ends on Saturday. So far Peaks has received 10 bids, topping out at $71, according to the eBay Web site.

I have some experience with ebay, and no one should EVER accept a bid from a user with zero feedback.
As of this posting, 1:33 p.m. EST, the winning bidder (sillybob or something like that) has ZERO feedback which usually indicates a false bid, especially when the bid is $15,000!!!!
Just a word of warning....
If the money is going to Tawny Peaks, I'd like her to actually get it. But then again, maybe the whole thing is a huge publicity stunt or something.

I think there is a significant difference between saying that someone 'Sounded' like a bitter porn whore, and saying they *are* one.
I will also say that I doubt Tawney was *lying* when she gave the years of her breif career...perhaps she was slightly mistaken, perhaps not, but to quibble over a couple of photo shoots that may or may not have taken place after the dates she gave is really splitting hairs..
I would also like to state that we few times we had met Tawney, she was an utter delight. We have nothing negative to say about her...*BUT*....for some reason she has chosen to put herself back in the spotlight she succesfully retreated from, and IN THE CHARACTER she denounced years ago. We don't pay her bills, so we can't comment on her making a few dollars by selling her old implants. We do feel however that she showed extremely bad judgement going on O&A's show, if indeed she wasn't looking to attract attention AS Tawney Peaks, rather than the successful wife, Mother, and homemaker she had allegedly become. Her motivation really is known only to her, and if she gets 'blasted'. or people perceive her in a negative way...well...no one put a gun to her head to go on that show. Has anyone been dragging Busty Dusty's name through the mud recently?....No?.....that may be because Dusty retired from the spotlight with the sincere intention of staying away. She has not opened herself up to this type of critisism.
Tawney, a few years back went on a national talk show, and basically denounced the business (we know several features from that era that are dissapointed at the way she portrayed the business publically )...why she would put herself back in the spotlight after being away, and apparently being very happy is certainly a mystery...and as a result I have a hard time viewing her as a victim here.
I really hope that things work out for her, she needs this like she needs a hole in her head.

Hey the only thing she did was make a killing on Ebay. Can anybody here say they would not do the same if they had the opportunity. I am dead serious right now. If you could sell something on ebay that you had absolutely no use for and get thousands of dollar, would you do it? I for one answer HELL YES!
And as a side note I do not fully know about your and other ladies experience in the huge boob industry but I have a basic ideal where you are coming from. I have heard from some ladies trying to get into that market and they were trying to get custom implants. Mentor just does not have large implants like that. These women had some sad stories. They were already in debt. Often had bad implant, boob job or both which prevented them from working. They were in a hole and just digging themselves deeper and deeper.
And as a final note I really take offense to that radio show. There is no hummor in being mentally handy capped. I have a cousin that's deaf, mute and has an IQ around 50. She has truely lived a hard and often sad life. This is not funny and those guys on that show suck. They really do.

Did you not read the recap? She hung up once. Then the hosts wondered about her boob job, and told the producer to get her back on the phone.
Tawny knew what she was getting into, and she didn't have to get on the phone the second time. I can assure you that since O&A are pretty much commercial free, there was nothing that had to do with Golden Palace involving themselves with this. No percentages. O&A frequently have guests are that are "bad". They had Cindy Williams on in a segment called "Has Been Corner".
Hell, they had Lizzy Grubman on this morning, and they suggested for his next premiere, Bruce Willis should bypass hanging out with Lindsay Lohan and just bring a 12 year old girl.

I met Tawny on several occasions when she was still performing and found her to be one of the sweetest and kind-hearted people you could wish to meet. There was always a sense that she was not quite comfortable with her career and that it was a matter of necessity rather than choice.
Tawny will have had to struggle with a Down Syndrome [censored] - a struggle which she is still locked in. Any money she makes from the sale of her implants is unlikely to get spent on a pair of Manolo Blahniks or a sports car.

What do you want me to say, that I've appeared in Score magazine more times than Chelsea has but fewer times that Crystal Gunns ? That I was a part of PhotoClubs before either Chelsea or Crystal Gunns ? That I did not work for the same feature agent as Chelsea or Crystal, and thus didn't work in the clubs booked by that agent ? As Bambi previously posted, measuring 'success' in this industry is a very subjective thing. Yes I did appear on the Jenny Jones show ... once. It was not a pleasant experience, and I have declined invitations for subsequent appearances. I do have a video tape of that show somewhere. But if the reason for your question is along the lines of 'freebirdy's' comments/implications, I'm not going to devote the time and effort necessary to digitize a clip as 'proof' to you that I actually appeared. I'm sure that there are quite a few BEA members who saw that show and can confirm my appearance.

My point was that the 'yardstick' you were attempting to use to portray my career as brief and insignificant in regard to "other huge boob girls of the 90's" depends on subjective interpretation. My specific example of attempting to 'count' Score magazine appearances was meant to be a graphic illustration of that subjectiveness, i.e. the fact that a particular girl has appeared in the magazine a smaller or larger number of times isn't necessarily reflective of her 'stature' or financial success in the industry in any particular way. The JJ show was cancelled last fall (which didn't break my heart based on my personal experiences with that show). If you must know, the most recent TV invitation I turned down was from Montel few months back. The producers were attempting to organize a 'geek boyfriend, super sexy girlfriend' theme which was to be totally 'scripted' and fictional.

Actually, Sable Holiday and I chose to amicably sever our business relationship with Photoclubs at the same time and for the same reasons. This issue was discussed right here at BEA at the time Sable and I withdrew from PhotoClubs - I'm surprised that you missed it. Basically, it revolved around PhotoClubs' decision to institute a different photo update and pay structure for 'new' vs. existing models, and PhotoClubs' near simultaneous decision to prominently display a small handful of girls on their top line and in their site promo which significantly altered the conditions under which the original 'partner' girls would have to operate. Put another way, from the viewpoint of the original 'partner' girls, the rules were changed in the middle of the game.
These decisions, while understandable from PhotoClubs standpoint, severely affected the work required versus payback equation for existing models who were committed to actually shooting and posting new photos every two weeks and being paid on a percentage basis, compared to the work required versus payback equation for 'new' models who were allowed to do one or two photo shoots a year (for which they were paid a fixed modeling fee and had to release copyright) which PhotoClubs then periodically posted as quote 'new' content. As I have said repeatedly in the past this parting of the ways was amicable and done by mutual agreement.

Well, the Ashcroft thing is still FAR from settled (for anybody unfamiliar with Section 2257 you might want to check out http://my.execpc.com/~xxxlaw/primer.html ), and IMHO with GWB's re-election adult webmasters haven't seen the last of this. Ashcroft's resignation delayed implementation, but certainly didn't make the law go away. This issue was also discussed at length here at BEA.
For the benefit of newer readers I'll recap some of my reasons for deciding to shut down my pay website at the beginning of this year.
#1 - the potential burden of Section 2257 compliance, particularly in regard to live web-cam
#2 - the exorbitant annual fee plus processing fee percentage charged for adult website online credit card processing services
#3 - increasing financial risks - posed by a credit card processor going belly up (ask Keisha), posed by a web server security breach (i.e. huge bandwidth bills)
#4 - search engines adopting 'pay for play' listings, and
#5 - getting lucky with my investments such that I no longer 'needed' the website income
So far I have 'played along' with your incessant criticisms and aspersions in the interest of providing other BEA readers with accurate info. This will not continue.

I remember one time I met Tawny on the beach in Venice, CA. I was rollerblading down there and saw her eating at a cafe and stopped, told her I was a big fan and that I loved her Playboy cover (she was the cover girl for the very first Playboys Voluptuous Vixens issue) and got her to take a photo with me. This was just before I had ever been in this business -- about 8 years ago. I had completely forgotten about that moment until now
One of the many benefits of living in Los Angeles. I miss those days, too.

Although I appreciate the desire to have an image showing who you are talking about, you need to remove that photo before someone else does it for you.BTW, Tawney Peaks is well known on this site and many posts have been created that mention her. Do a search with her name and make the date range "Newer than 1 year" and "Older than 1 month". That should give you enough to start.

She actually went on another talk show (like Montel or Maury or something) and did a whole reconcilation thing with her mother about her life as a model and how she had regrets, etc.
I'm sure if you googled her name with the word "bio" after it, you could find something.
She was a very nice, sweet lady from the one time I met her, which was before I ever did this job when I ran into her while rollerblading down on Venice Beach. I still have the photo I took with her. Her boobs were ginormous and she was very sexy. One of my faves.
