You know, I've enjoyed posting stuff by Julius Zimmerman but then I thought that at one time Zimmerman had stated that an influence on him was the late, great Bill Ward so what the hell, why not start a thread on a boobyrific artist. ;D
-
Bill Ward (1919-1998) cartoons reflect the times when he did them. Nowadays he is probably considered a sexist pig but then he was a risqué artist. I thought his cartoons were very sexy. :)

Bill Ward was probably considered a sexist pig then, even by the standards of his time. It's just that being a sexist pig wasn't a shunnable offense, in his heyday.
The man could draw his ass off, though.

In some ways, a man way ahead of his times. ;D

Great stuff there, good sir.
I have to think that when Will Elder first introduced "Little Annie Fannie" in Playboy magazine October 1962, he was borrowing Bill Ward's ideas.
Side note - seeing this thread title makes me think of another Bill Ward, the drummer for Black Sabbath. Also an innovator in his own right, albeit completely irrelevant to this thread. ;D

Bill Ward, a sexist pig? But not in the standards of then?
Now, he would be?
This is some really, truly, dEEp thinking that is way beyond the pale.
Perhaps from Mars or Venus?

We have to see this in the context of the time. An American pilot shooting at Japanese while a Chinese is pointing out the enemy. At that time China was an USA ally while Japan was the enemy in World War 2. It is backwards now.

Do you prefer only the original on this thread? No morphing?

Do you prefer only the original on this thread? No morphing?
I prefer to keep original since morphing was not something that could be done in most of the time Bill Ward was creating his art but if you are going to morph, do mostly the breasts only and I do like the colorizing you've been doing. :)

I couldn't initially read this post because the thumb size made it impossible for my eyes to read it, but this happened during my life. Back in the 1960's, when I was a kid, movie theaters were single screen places but then in the 1970's, when I was a teenager and then a young adult, many were even closed, and some were changed to multi-screen places. This cartoon-comic brought back memories which I have seen/experienced. :)

You did good NavSquid. I bet since the image is clearer, most people will realize that it was translated to Spanish. :)
