Hopefully this won't happen. I think Hollywood might be more inclusive to busty women these days. Emily's size is comparable to Kat Dennings who has a leading role on the CBS show 2 Broke Girls and Christina Hendricks has done well.

Producers produce what the public will pay to watch, based on past performance. It's that simple. Would you expect your casino to tweak the games so that the house knowingly loses more money than it makes? Of course not! But that's what you'd expect "Hollywood" to do... you think they ought to make decisions (casting choices) that experience shows will reduce their chances of turning a profit?
The vast majority of high-level studio executives, producers and directors are middle-aged white heterosexual men. Generally speaking, they like boobs ...take my word for it. However, they get paid to make movies and tv shows not for themselves, but for a mass audience. It's the taste of the audience that's ultimately responsible for the kind of content that gets made.
How's that so difficult to understand?

I have some suspicions about the driving factors behind some of this.
An impression I have is that society seems to equate that notable curviness -- pulchritudinous beauty, based on the classic female form, part of the essence of physical femaleness -- is somehow damaging to the modern ideal of the intelligent, empowered and capable woman. Thus dangerous to hang out there as a meme of the ideal, in modern media and discourse.
However, I observe that one can certainly have a killer hourglass figure and still be intelligent, empowered and capable.
The other side of my impression is that that much female power in combination tends to strike fear in the hearts of that same demographic shared by those studio execs and other "captains of industry" - and thus tends to get suppressed on that account also.
I think this is one of the reasons why the persona of the intelligent, powerful And beautiful woman often gets relegated to the femme fatale - Danger, Will Robinson!! Or gets held up as a sacred cow to get harpooned (how's that for a mixed metaphor? I'm not implying manatees here...) :) - case in point Sigourney Weaver in Working Girl. But the writers softened (hardened?) that one by endowing her character with a "bony ass". LOL :)
Heh, the Working Girl illustration even works on the other side of the coin - Melanie Griffith's character, unpolished, curvier and alluring, achieves her goals with sweat equity rather than raw intelligence - wins. This movie worries me a bit -it's supposed to be an anthem for female empowerment, but taken at the levels I'm talking here, it's motives seem a bit duplicitous. You could argue this more than one way...
Anyway, despite efforts in various fronts to promote gender enlightenment, in large proportion across today's cultures the modern male still prefers his sex objects to not be particularly intellectually challenging. It's much less stressful that way (can you say, Sarcasm?).
All this boils down to avoidance of some tricky sociological undercurrents. Mix this gunk up with marketing, and the scale of investment and expected returns on big media like movies and television, and you have many of the ingredients for today's media.
I hope to see lots of Emily Barry, notwithstanding. WITHOUT forced weight loss or reduction. ;D

I feel that there is a germ of truth in all these ruminations concerning the depiction and acceptance of the more "womanly" in the media.
There is the assertion that only those that fit some idealized shape will make the cut by the inhuman and conveniently anonymous "media".
There is the also understandable pressures to have women presented to do not too radically push the bounds of social expectation.
There is even the argument that it is a self-fulfilling process that automatically pushes a surprisingly consistent "type" to the top of the pile.
I will also repeat the little "rule-of-thumb" quote from a producer...
"I heard a very appropriate quote many years ago from a TV producer concerning what not to do to your audience.
1) Never make 'em feel stupid, so always have someone dumber.
2) Never make 'em feel ugly, so always have someone nastier.
3) and Never make guys feel weak or gals feel flat."

Because of this you will never see above average curves in concentrations above those of the audience. You may see one or two but nothing near the levels of reality. Yes, it is OK to blame the women too because they do it to themselves as well. Most women simply can not handle it which is too bad for it helps to create the skewed representations simply to assuage everyone's egos.
It will be interesting to follow Ms. Barry's career to she how well she navigates these waters.
Emily Barry may be large but to compare her size to Christina Hendricks may be a bit of a stretch.

There are probably countless variables that go into a young actress remaining in relative obscurity, or becoming a household name. I'm not saying that her body type won't play some role in whatever happens or doesn't happen, but here, because it's her dimensions that draw any interest at all, there will probably be a quick assumption that her big tits are the cause if she doesn't have a flourishing career.

I noticed on the "my story" section of her website she said she watches a lot of "Mad Men" reruns on Netflix....... Hmmmmmmmmmmm

The media is generally a mirror of societal norms, though in some niches these are more aspirational than realistic. Yes, of course high-fashion models have been toothpicks for decades... but those models (and the non-porn fashion magazine covers they appear on) are a niche: lots of gay men in the fashion business or old women and it's a big money business with seasonal shows, fashion lines, contracts, etc... so what they promote (the Twiggy) is what their idea of beauty is, and what the consumers of their products (or the products they advertise) want to see. That is to say: Twiggy and not a 'normal' female body type, let alone a voluptuous one.
That (again) is capitalism at work: not a plot or agenda by some group (be they fashionistas or movie producers) to overtly guide mainstream tastes. IF Joe and Joan Blow going to the movies (or buying clothes they see advertised in a magazine or on TV) in West Bumfuck, WI enjoyed and accepted Score-type figures in mainstream/consumer media, then that's what magazine editors and filmmakers would provide via mainstream channels. But they don't (and probably never will in America, if history is any guide) so the vast majority of mainstream actresses and models, etc.. DON'T look like Score girls. That's not a plot, it's our culture and basic economics.
That's why we have Score (thankfully) ...so that our interests can be satisfied. :)

Imo it's likely just a minimizer bra, proper clothing to make her look smaller, etc. I realize that in this day and with digital alteration software (photoshop) and on this forum/site that we see lots of pics (morphs and the like) that are commonly altered. With that being said, while it is a possibility, you may be surprised at how easy it really is to make breasts look smaller (or bigger) with certain undergarments and/or clothing choices. Case in point is an ex of mine wore a 38GG/H, and with a few certain minimizer bras she owned, and with certain clothing they could appear much smaller if she didn't want to draw attention. Just my two cents. :)

IMH experience, H cups do not necessarily imply compatibility, heh, or even sanity.
In fact, I suspect that one can even make a case that bearing H cups could be detrimental to the owner's sanity - the inevitable extra attention, whether desired or not, appreciated or not - adds pressure that maybe not everybody handles well. I've seen big boobs cause swelled heads, self-loathing, and various combos in between.
Doesn't always affect suitors or significant others well, for that matter - that from personal experience.

Almost all the variation we notice in photographs here is due to clothing, posing, and camera angle. Then for some there is lens choice and finally digital alterations.

It is not here for you to post anything you wish, which then moderators must hunt down, authenticate the ages of everyone depicted and then remove the underag3 stuff. I think(guess) it's more a matter of giving the people what they seem to want/self promo than being insecure. As someone mentioned before, she popped up on another site and didn't seem dismayed by the type of attention she's been getting at all. I morph photos. I'm better at it than Emily or whoever is doing it for her. I can see rookie mistakes in her attempts. Things such as
1. Overly "pointy" elbows and bent forearms that appear due to morphing breasts.
2. Mashed fingertips for the same reason.
3. Odd outline around her hips showing pixels being "pulled" inward and outward.
4. Mishapen textures on fabric.
5. Blur from a bilinear or other filter being applied when using the liquify/iwarp tools.
6. Thick layer of noise added to the photo to mask imperfections in the work.
These lead me to see those two photos before my posts as morphs. Also her size compared to videos and other photos I do not believe are morphed.

She obviously morphed that photo and probably some of the other ones, but the reason why she looks small in that bikini pic is simply because it was from a long time ago. (She recently posted it as a throwback.)
There are videos of her performing theater that show she is huge. Heck, she was even in a TV show on that ID channel and she was jiggling all around.
So yes, she morphed that picture, but she's still really big. And IMO it almost makes her hotter lol.

Mod edit: bmoc, the onus falls upon the downloader (i.e.: you, me, etc...) to deal with the logistics of downloading. If you experience more runaround that you like using a relatively undemanding filehost like 1fichier, it's probably a sign that you need to improve things on your end. I experienced NONE of what you described. Rather than ask the uploader to RE-UL it (which he kindly did in this instance) why not take a few minutes to improve your browser/plug-ins/etc... so that instead of the ULer having to UL something twice, he can do so only once? After all, he's the one doing us a favor, so the least we can do is take steps to keep his effort to a minimum, right? -Pal :)

The media is generally a mirror of societal norms, though in some niches these are more aspirational than realistic. Yes, of course high-fashion models have been toothpicks for decades... but those models (and the non-porn fashion magazine covers they appear on) are a niche: lots of gay men in the fashion business or old women and it's a big money business with seasonal shows, fashion lines, contracts, etc... so what they promote (the Twiggy) is what their idea of beauty is, and what the consumers of their products (or the products they advertise) want to see. That is to say: Twiggy and not a 'normal' female body type, let alone a voluptuous one.
That (again) is capitalism at work: not a plot or agenda by some group (be they fashionistas or movie producers) to overtly guide mainstream tastes. IF Joe and Joan Blow going to the movies (or buying clothes they see advertised in a magazine or on TV) in West Bumfuck, WI enjoyed and accepted Score-type figures in mainstream/consumer media, then that's what magazine editors and filmmakers would provide via mainstream channels. But they don't (and probably never will in America, if history is any guide) so the vast majority of mainstream actresses and models, etc.. DON'T look like Score girls. That's not a plot, it's our culture and basic economics.
That's why we have Score (thankfully) ...so that our interests can be satisfied. :)

In any case, I'd not presume to speak on behalf of the "general public" and merely commented on what I observe in popular media, coupled with a basic understanding of supply and demand. If you prefer to believe that some sort of anti-breast cabal is responsible for mainstream tastes, by all means feel free to do so even though Occam's Razor would suggest that's not the case.

Actually that's a really good comparison, because sometimes I see pics of Wendy and she seems as big or bigger than the mega boobers of the 90s (Tiffany Towers, etc), and then sometimes she looks like she does in the bikini pic there, where she has big boobs but not BIG boobs. Clothing, angles, and FoV can make a darn big difference and I think that's what is creating the disparity. Like, F cup is still darn big, but I think when these girls look more like HH cups, it's a combo of Wonderbra and Nikkor 14mm. They're still very pretty, mind.

FYI, there are very few full-time actors or models. Most have day jobs and hunger for more and better work. The old joke is, "Without Broadway, New York would have no waiters." And in L.A. the joke is, "You're an actor? Which restaurant?"
Actors' images have been doctored one way or another ever since Mary Pickford discovered that being lit from below made her look much younger.

Personally my reaction was one of disappointment followed by confusion as to why she would manipulate her own photos.
She is already very curvacious and I would say "pretty". The photo manipulation seems unnecessary and because of that just a bit dishonest. Like making ice-cream only to sprinkle sugar on top. What, was the ice-cream not that sweet? Why did you do that? Was there something wrong with the stuff to begin with? Are you covering something up? Should I not be eating all this?
I guess I would feel better knowing it was a B cup gal being tweaked to H than an J to a K.

I hate to sound braggy, but morphing is what I do all the time, I spend an ungodly amount of time staring at photos of breasts, and I have inspected these pics and don't see the telltale signs or artifacts of morphing, like odd shadows, weird sunlighting, mismatched tones or color, bad erasing, misshapen or misplaced straps, bad masking where hair is laying in skin or fabric, stretched patterns or texture on cloth. So either she is or has employed some ace quality morpher, better than most of us or it is most likely a function of what she's wearing. As you know women can either enhance or dress down their breast size depending on what they are shooting for (Scarlett Johansson is a big culprit at this). My guess is the boobs are real.

There's no doubt they're real & big, but just not as big as she makes them look in many of her photos.

I also do a lot of morphing and I see all kinds of tell-tale artifacts like warped background objects, bilinear filtering, enlarged texture on clothing, unnatural shapes, and overly pointy elbows that are all typical of amateur work. There's also the matter of almost all of her "big" photos have her in solid color tops which are easiest to work with.

That is a great photo to analyze and it is interesting.
I would not say it is morphed so much as the entire image is distorted slightly giving her bosom a boost. Whether or not this is deliberate is up to interpretation however this is what I found within the photo.
Primary Determination
There will be few to no morphing artifacts as this is a trapezoidal distortion (weighted to the bottom right) of the entire image.
This image happens to have her reflection in a mirror behind her so I was able to compare the ratio of torso width to head width. If there was no distortion the foreground and background versions of her should be nearly the same. They were not. Her reflection is lower within the image so it experienced more exaggeration (enlargement).
Foreground head to shoulder width ratio = .7006
Background head to shoulder width ratio = .7500 (reflection)
The lower in the image one goes the bigger (wider) things get. Note that the reflected image is between her foreground head and shoulder so this may not be immediately apparent. Her lower foreground shoulder is more enlarged in size thus creating a smaller ratio to her head width.
The rate of trapezoidal distortion is right around 3% - for every 100 pixels the image widens by 3% or 3 pixels.
Thus from top to bottom the image widens by 28.8%.
This is exhibited by the parallel items that flare at a rate faster that perspective would explain.
Essentially, perspective is flaring outward the lower in the image one moves.
The top of the bottle shows this well.
The ellipse that the cap forms should have a center axis that follows the transcribed rectangle the would bound the cap and running parallel to the sides of the cylindrical cap regardless of how she is holding it. (she does have it at a slight angle which I adjusted for)
However, the cap's vertical axis is not parallel to the sides of the cube that would bound the cap. It is distorted toward the center of the image by 12 pixels over an ellipse height of 42 pixels - or 28.5% very close to the overall image distortion.
This also occurs in the vertical stripes of the chair to the left and in the office partitions which flare in a similar degree. Both items are angled to each other yet flare at a rate similar to the constant 3%. Objects can have different perspective points and usually do, the fact that they all flare at the same rate is what gives this away.
All of this could be the camera.
But the effect is to make her appear at least 10%+ more busty with no traditional morphing, just image adjustment. To me a rate of 3% does not indicate a very covert effort to enlarge her bust - but it is visually happening here.
As her bust is already large and fills 400 pixels of image height the collective exaggeration of her size is around 12% or more.
Note: Technically if this is a camera lens effect the vertical lines of the trapezoidal grid are curved outward the lower one goes and the horizontal lines would start to arc away from the center of field slightly. The effect actually accelerates the lower one goes in this image so her bust is actually in the best place to get visually amplified by the camera.
I have included an example of trapezoidal flare of around 28% below along with an original image showing how with selective cropping and few perspective references this effect is rather convincing.

That's seems possible, I always chalk stuff like that up to lens, proximity and angle, Like Pinup Files is notorious for. I did go back and reexamine a lot of these pics, and there were maybe a few that I could concede might have been morphed seriously, not just skewed like this.
I guess if one or two are, then it follows more could be. I gotta say I was convinced she was just a stuffer, but its not like I'm never wrong. :P

I think, as you have summarized, that we are probably looking at a range of effects, both accidental and deliberate, that have boosted her bust over the years in these photos. Yes, not every photo and not consistently in the same manner but there are enough that suggests that grain of salt I mentioned above for any of them.
Let's say around 28.8% at a minimum. ;D
Really, it is likely that she has stuffed, morphed, tweaked, or just happened to look extra puffy that day along with many where she just is her typical busty self. Why one would try and modify her chest is a bit of a mystery to me.

I personally would argue against doing that. Also, some of the Emily photos are taken/posted by her friends and I would assume (unless they like to alter pics too) those are normal.

As was noted previously some of her friends appear to have been in cahoots with the photo manipulations. So even if the image author is not Emily, the likelihood that those images are "normal" has still been called into question.
For me, I like the idea of moving this thread to the morphed areas of the BEA.
The aspect that gets to me is that these are all subtle image manipulations to make an already busty gal just a bit bigger. The silly aspect of that is why? I find that she is remarkable without the modifications and tricks. Introducing a 20% size increase through an edit is, in my mind, unnecessary and does a disservice to a woman of outstanding proportions.
Basically I would like to see her in her natural glory - the tweaked images are just dishonest and misleading or it points to a underlying tendency for deceit & deception on her part.

I have noticed a trend now with instagram that will allow higher resolution images to be posted, but you must pay attention to the URL because the site will automatically downsize the image to something it thinks is appropriate for your computer.
If you look at the URL you will see a section relating to the image size like /s640x640/ (the numbers will be different depending on your monitor).
Remove that section and you will get the full quality image.
This was quite vexing for me when I discovered it because I don't know how long I have been saving images in less than ideal quality and it is causing me to have to go back over my whole collection (which is considerable in size).

I'd be interested to know if an actress like Christina Hendricks got the Mad Men role in part because of her body (i.e., they were looking for a more busty/full-figured gal) or was she truly the best to audition for it (assuming it was an open casting call). I read an article that said she was in acting business for about 11 years until the Mad Men opportunity developed. It's hard to say for sure whether her breakthrough took so long because of her body put limitations on what roles she could get or whether people just felt she wasn't a good enough actress.
Emily has a specific training in the performing arts so I'd hope she wouldn't just give up on all that this early in her life.
