Hi there.
So
There's this thing I'm doing. And I think its going ok. But I think it will work better with some help.
Sometime ago, looking for inspiration, I came across Cross C's idea for a restart here: http://bearchive.com/~addventure/game1/docs/941/941770.html
And I got the idea of this DeLorean crashing into other stories, disrupting things, and then moving on. And I thought about all the threads that I really like but wasn't sure how to intrude upon them, and I also thought about things that had sort of dead-ended for me and nobody else had continued them after some months and thought to myself. "This is it, my key to immortality and world domination!!!" or something like that.
I know it isn't totally original. There was that great thing with Sean and the 1000 episodes, and some other meta crossings over.
I thought in order to make this work, it should go like you were reading a story (say, about Jim and Rick finding a magic wand and TGing), and then all of the sudden these other characters with their own story crashed into it (say, they take the wand and fly off), and then the reader could either click on a continuation of ADDL (where did they go with the wand?), or could click on the continuation of whatever story they happened to be reading (oh no! they lost the wand! What's going to happen now that Jim is stuck as a slutty 20yo version of Rick's Mom?).
So I took Doc Brown and made him The Spells R Us Wizard, because he's sort of familar and exotic; and I came up with a back story for him flying around through episodes, and then I plotted something like 30 episodes out where it starts with the DeLorean crashing into a house and (SPOILER ALERT) (SPOILER ALERT) (SPOILER ALERT) (SPOILER ALERT) (SPOILER ALERT) ends with a giantess fucking away a magical black hole near the galactic core that threatens to destroy THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE!!!

Then I thought about writing this post, which would be something of a guide to the episodes. The fact that I am posting them out of order makes it sometimes hard to follow (Hi JH!!).
And so that took me a year or so (so far). I started with the beginning and the end(ish, because we don't do endings) and started filling up the middle. I realized that by working this way, I could make the story as big as I wanted to.
When I got to one point where I thought to myself about all the places in the addventure where The DeLorean could crash in. The more places I found, the more fun I was having bashing the stories together. THen I thought "let's crowdsource this mother" and wrote this.
So if you've read all this so far, thanks. And then, if you're into this, and you have a good place for the intersection of two stories--someplace where the story is dangling, perhaps--post it here and I'll see what I can do. I'll also keep the list of episodes I've posted up to date.
And, of course, there's nothing to keep anyone else from going along with this and branching off from my branches. Have at it!!
It's weird and awkward posting these things out of order, and easy to mess up. (Hi Adama!!!) But I think I've gotten it down now.

Hi, and thanks. Reading the episodes has been a lot of fun, and the guide will be very helpful. And you've been working on it for a year?! I'm really impressed.
I see the wizard as a sort of cross between Doc. Brown (played by Christopher Lloyd) and Saruman (played by Christopher Lee), which means that his real name is probably Christopher - and not Tim as I believe he has once claimed. :)

Whenever I'm given a episode number without a full link, I just bring up any episode and then make the necessary edits to the folder and episode number by hand. It's a bit fiddly but easy enough.

Excellent! But it says that the concept was created by Chuck, whereas episode 941770 is actually by Cross C (which I don't think is one of Chuck's aliases).
