Title: Censored Words at BEA list
Post by: MaxBigfoot on November 15, 2019, 09:52:48 PM: For my own info, and as a reference as to what not to use, I'd like to create a list of censored words here, and what numbers are used to replace them. So far, I've only got a few, since I never kept track of the ones I've had to delete or change in my own posts.
They are:

That's funny. In Indian TV serials they've been saying shit (in English) like it's going out of style. But the English subtitles are bowdlerized to say "darn" or "heck". ...Yet they still can't show two adults kissing.

Such a common word, not just meaning "a paid lady-of-the-night" but also used in bras and in knitting.
