Sorry to say I'm voting for AI.  You can find more at X under the name Karin Laure, @LaureKarin but I also found another account on Insta, @only.kristinstew that is a variation of the same person and same basic background but everything is just slightly off.

Could such a technology be allowed to exist since it could even cause slavery or terrorism or something that could look human, but it wouldn't really be?

I don't want that to happen, cause than life might be nothing cause of alternative creation. I am sure in most cases these might be treaten like a toy or tool.
It is the same with AI of asking such tools for answers: check the answer twice with a different source, cause Ai has nothing to loose.
Asking a a real human, the answer could be wrong too but this person will think twice or say that he is not sure.
AI is most likely 100% sure to have the right answer even if it is miles away from the right answer.

Because AI is so recent, it will be a while before we truly understand its effects on our life.
