Reminds me of a story

Guy goes into the doctors office for his first colonoscopy, The nurse at reception is fantastic looking huge tits platinum blonde hair and eyes so blue and deep you could loose yourself in them... She signs him in quickly and efficiently. The guy goes back into the back rooms at the direction of the doctor. The doctor sends a text  and proceeds to bring in a beer on a tray... The doctor looks at the beer looks at the girl and he says Im sorry i meant to text BUTT light not Bud light.

Well, it is 2:30 AM as I write this because today at 7:00 AM I'm again having a colonoscopy procedure being done and the prescription calls for the second bottle to be taken six hours prior to procedure. As I hear my innards groaning and making noises a thought came to my mind. What kind of person wants to be a proctologist / colonoscopy Doctor ? Literally a shitty job.   But seriously, what motivates someone to inspect something that ain't pretty, an anus, and the surrounding ass area, which in most cases of people my age or more and is not that attractive anymore to be honest, and what satisfaction do they get ? Yes, I'm probably just engaging in a useless exercise to pass the time away as I pass liquid out my ass for the procedure. I'm very, very hungry, that's for sure. And perhaps I should not compose a thought when I'm so freakin' tired.

Well, sol, I'm guessing that you lived through the procedure (something I'm never sure of when I have it done) and are doing well. I find doctors to be interesting people who are usually happy to talk about their work. I did ask my butt doc about his specialty, and he told me. When he was in college and med school both his parents died of colon cancer a few years apart. At the time colonoscopies were not part of a regular medical program, but colon cancer is 100% preventable. When the time came to specialize, he did.

Reading my rambling prior statement shows why sometimes it is better to wait and feel better. I was trying to be humorous but I realize I wasn't particularly funny or clever. The motivation or reason why anybody does whatever they do should not be belittled if what they do is what they like to do and it is neither illegal or injurious to others. I was treated very well by the staff and the Doctor was affable and briefed me on the procedure. I went to the surgery clinic at 6:30 AM, was on the table at 7:00 AM and on the way out at 8:45 AM. I did not suffer discomfort and yes, they put me out during the procedure. Happy to report I have no polyps and only a few minor hemorrhoids were found and told not to come back for another 7 to 10 years.  The preparation was frankly much worse than the procedure. Afterwards after the clinic I asked my friend who patiently waited to drive me back home to stop and to get me some breakfast and so we went to a Denny's and I had a chicken fried steak with eggs, hashbrowns  with white bread toast and strawberry jelly. Dieticians brains in the country have melted.

After mine, I figured that the cleaning process had purged so much of the bacteria inside me that I'd need a recharge. So I went and had a pint of frozen yogurt (a type that was said to be filled with good bacteria). I don't think it made a difference.
