With all the strange temp various throughout the world - I thought it would be interesting to see how we are all living in such different environments.

So what is it like where you are?

For the last week we have been averaging 112 to 116 Fahrenheit or 43 to 46 Celsius  even though technically Summer has only started today. It is right now 95 Fahrenheit or 35 Celsius at 3:30 in the morning here in Vegas and we will be easily over 100 Fahrenheit for the highs until late September and maybe because it has happened before, mid October. Welcome to the Devil's Den.

They are calling this the hottest heat dome in 150 years

I was talking to a neighbor recently - he was moaning about the heat - it was 20c. He'd die in Sin City. ha ha

Fires were the first thing that came to mind with all the woodland in Oregon.  Cross our fingers it doesn't happen.

With the exception of Solvegas, who I know is in Las Vegas, I don抰 know the other locations, so the temperatures are meaningless to me.

We call that nice Spring weather here. If humidity gets to 20%, we call it very humid. Humidity is normally between 3 to 10 %. We get 4 inches or 10 centimeters of rain annually on average. Sunny ? It is sunny here for at least on average 315 to 330 days a year which is why I installed solar panels. My electric bill was $13.15 for May which includes the $12.50 hookup charge from Nevada Power. Solar can make sense here.

If humidity gets to 20%, we call it very humid. Humidity is normally between 3 to 10 %.

Humidity is something we often forget, but it does have an affect on how feel.  As I write it is 11癈 and the humidity is 71%

31C here in Calgary right now, 18% humidity.  A little warm.  I'm glad my bedroom/office is in the basement of my house.

Today the temperature dropped down to 105 Fahrenheit or 41 Celsius from 115 F or 46 C yesterday and it is right now a cool 98 F or 37 C at 8 PM.

I feel totally inadequate - only 15C today. (sad face)
