At 5:10 AM or 0510 hours, it is 90F or 32C with 17% humidity. The high is predicted to be within 112F or 45C to 120F or 50C depending in which part of the Las Vegas valley you reside in. Since I live in the foothills of the mountains, it will be only 112F where I live.  ::) ;) ;D

Sure, I would gladly send you 20F or 6C your way
With a high of 19C today an extra 6C would be perfect.

That's what I got.  Our high today was 25C.   ;)

As of 9:30 PM or 2130 hours, it is 104F or 40C with 10% humidity. Tomorrows high will be 112F or 44C  to 118F or 47C depending where you live in the Las Vegas valley.

It is a nice  and pleasant 91F or 33C right now at 6:35AM or 0635 hours with 21% humidity. It should be 112F or 45C later on today in the afternoon.  :)

I have a question:  When it is that hot can you go outside for very long?   Surely the heat is going to be unpleasant after short time.

20C /60F today here.

20C /60F today here.

At present at 4AM or 0400 hours it is 96F or 35C with a high of 115F or 45C. Go outside for long ? IF your job requires it, like construction, you hydrate A LOT but most construction is done at night because it isn't just the outside temperature but the sun's radiant power which is troubling. The aboriginal people of the area, the Paiutes, used to move their belongings in the summer up to the mountains where it is about 30F or so cooler. Mt Charleston for example, is 12,400 feet high or 4100 meters high and in Summer there is no snow so you move there. In the Winter, you dragged your stuff down to the Las Vegas valley where it isn't freezing so much like the mountains. A semi-nomadic lifestyle. Modern people though have Air Conditioning whose mass use after World War 2 transformed the area. In 1950 there were only 50,000 people in the valley. In 2020 there were 2.2 Million. Do I go outside much ? Nope, it's too fucking hot outside. I use my air conditioned car to get groceries or other services but as far as being a pedestrian, never. Besides, Las Vegas is physically larger than London, even though a lot less people live here, so you don't walk far. Part of the good ol' American urban sprawl. Anyways, don't want to be bore you anymore.  ;) ;D

It is 8:30 PM or 2030 hours and dark outside but the temperature is 110F or 43C with 10% humidity. Typical Summer weather here.  :P

Yeah that's what I thought.  Its kinda opposite to a cold climate like here in the UK, we're all stuck indoors during the winter and only get to go out in the summer.  Unlike today's summer day where it is (as I write) 13C and cloudy with rain.

I didn't know Vegas was bigger than London, although I've been there twice.

At 4AM or 0400 hours, it is 97F or 36C with 17% humidity. The high today will be between 115F to 120F or 45C to 48C depending on which part of the valley you will be at. As for the size, there are many parts of Las Vegas which have not been developed and are empty pieces of land so while the city claims it, there is nothing there. I was also including Henderson and North Las Vegas since the cities are so intertwined that they are de facto one in most respects.

28C here now, going to hit 30.  We've already had as many 30C+ days as we usually have during an entire hot summer.

14C - but 18C later.

I was reading an article by the UK's weather service The Met Office,  they say by 2059 the temperature will start rising here. “The UK has not recorded temperatures of more than 38.7 °C. However, our climate projections show temperatures of 40.0 °C or more are possible".

In one of their podcasts they talked about IRC The Yukon having a temperature swing of 100C from the coldest it has been to the hottest.  Jeez.

I suspect it the same there - but the big cities seem to be hotter than the countryside.  London always seems to be a degree or so hotter than the rest of the UK.
