You Brits are such wimps
For heat, yeah totally. We're just not used to it. Having said that some Brits are okay with it, most probably not. I'm happy either way. On the other end of the scale I'll be in shorts until it gets to 10C/50F.
I would find the constant rain and cool temperatures you have other there as rather annoying at best
Hard to disagree with that to be honest. The thing with the UK, due to it being as island, the weather is do changeable.
Perhaps that's why you explored out of your islands and later on you had the largest empire ever in human history.
I've thought this myself. And being descended from Vikings.
I'm glad you didn't take my comments seriously since I was just joking around. As for weather, the only place I lived at where the weather was good year-round was when I was stationed in Hawaii from November of 1979 to February of 1984. It was always between 75F to 85F year round because of the Latitude Hawaii is located. I do remember one day the temperature was a bone chilling 62F and the locals were wearing sweaters and long pants

and the tourists from Canada and the Northern United States were wearing shorts and sandals and wondering what is wrong with these people, it is still warm. Another time it got to a boiling 95F and the Hawaiians were melting while those from Arizona, Texas and other South and Southwestern states didn't think it was that hot at all.

Also, at that time most homes there didn't have air conditioners since there is a constant windward wind from the North which kept the islands very hospitable, and people would just open their windows and air out the house. Hawaii is humid but nowhere near as oppressive as the Gulf of Mexico area usually is.
