Boeing basically is trying to cheap out and just do a remix of the classic Lunar Modules, whereas Mr. Musk is trying to Tesla-ize his. Design-wise, I prefer SpaceX's version.

Actually, Starliner is far bigger than Apollo capsules.  Both companies chose old fashioned capsules.  But SpaceX has got those cool SuperDraco thrusters built-in for their escape system.  My nod would go to Sierra Space’s Dreamchaser, however.  Far superior to either capsule.

This is SpinLaunch’s launch system.  They are attempting to perfect a system where a giant mass spinner is effectively the first stage of a rocket.  The payload is spun incredibly fast at a rate of around 10,000g’s before being hurdled toward space, where a conventional second stage ignites to get the payload to orbit.
For robust payloads only.  Def not for squishy humans.

Just because it works in the Kerbel Space Program simulation, which a NASA engineer has played, does not give me a whole lot of confidence.

Like David and Goliath’s, where David had to spin it around first?  Yeah.

Another spinner (virtually, I believe)

A prototype and test bed for a Magnetic Launch System which when scaled up should be able to launch a spacecraft without necessarily squishing the people like that spin launch.  ;) ;D

I haven’t heard of this being done with an eye for people.  Looking up Loflyte reveals nothing about space travel, just hypersonic flight with tests back in 1997.

Hmmm… These attempts at trying to pass fiction off as fact is getting out if hand, methinks!  :P

I hope they try to implement the "space elevator" concept once they figure out the tensile strength of the thread issues.

Are you sure that pic was taken at the Cape?  They have facilities being built there, but I have yet to see a Starship at Cape Canaveral.  They are unable to build them there, yet, and I’ve heard nothing about transporting one there.  My guess is that that’s a shot at Boca Chica.

Hope you've got clear skies where you are the night of May 30-31.

If the prognostications are correct, there could be a right proper meteor STORM that night.

Not just a mere meteor every two minutes, but possibly one every two SECONDS. The odds are low of it happening - but do you want to miss it? Especially when it is expected to peak around midnight, so you don't have to get up at some ungodly hour to see it?

The snapping of pitch from a burning log,
The faint scent of pine filling the room.
Flames leaping about as if it were a ballet
Performing for its audience.
The soft, comforting glow of candlelight,
Bringing with it serenity and quiet thoughts.
