Way back in 1982, our boat had pulled into Subic Bay Naval Station in the Philippines after a couple months at sea and Sailors being Sailors, we let loose in town called Olongapo. I remember walking into a bar called The Stoned Crow and was greeted by what we used to call LBFMs. The military has acronyms for everything. LBFMs stands for Little Brown Fucking Machines which in those completely politically incorrect times is a term we used for Filipino women. We also called them Spinners because they were so tiny that you could fuck 'em by spinning them around your dick.

Anyways, I started to dr1nk some Mojo, which is Filipino moonshine, and the girl must have slipped a mickey on me because I don't remember the rest. Hours later, the Shore Patrol found me on a ditch, and I was bleeding from my chest. I don't remember that it was what they told me in the Naval hospital in Subic Bay. It seems I was stabbed, and they stole my money and I almost lost my life for $20 or so. Fortunately, it didn't penetrate far because it hit a rib. After that, I haven't got intoxicated since. I will have one beer once in a while, but that's it. Before that incident, I was quite often in a drunk3n stupor. Drink1ng age in those days was 18 and I took full advantage of that at the time.
