The gap is that empty space where the strap of a bra, bikini, top, or even sweater hovers. The existence of a gap, that space where the strap doesn't touch the skin, is often a sign that something big, very big, is hidden, that the volume of the breasts is significant. I love the gap for what it represents. Here's the first example.

Yes, for those wishing to go unnoticed by not wearing something lowcut, there is also the lesser seen, side gap.  I have noticed a correlation between size and an increasing likelihood of gaps.
