As I have worked throughout the last few years on morphing, I've tried many different styles.

Things like donor morphs, enlarging the boobs already in the pic, shrinking the girl and so on.

There's also the guys who essentially paint new breasts onto a girl. And just taking headshots and using them on a busty body.

So morph fans, what do you like in a morph? What styles grab you? Do you prefer realism or fantasy? What size?

This is a vague attempt at starting a new topic..... I rarely do that.

I'd love to hear from artists and viewers on this subject.

Definatly prefer the morphs on the fantasy end of the scale. Breasts i know i will never see in reality.

I like realism unless the morph is done by a very meticulous artist. Bust Artist is an example of one of the best. Generaly I like them to be not so big that they cover all the girl's ribs. I like to see at least half of the lower rib. Since I also like the full figured/heroic type body, I like to shrink the head a little to make the body more fullsome. Around 10% shrink. It also makes the hair look bigger. Has anyone tried that? Has anyone noticed that I have done that to some of my 3-d pics? It's a subtle effect but it is effective. I like it.

Well...I like realism in the sense of verisimilitude--the breasts should look real, lit consistently with the rest of the image, and ideally should show interaction with the other objects in the scene (shadows should be cast appropriately, if the breasts touch another object or the rest of the body there should be some "give", etc.). That given, the larger the breasts the better. If someone would do a morph of a model with, say, anything from a VW bug to an eighteen wheeler gently nestled between her breasts, I'd be in heaven.

Taking the original breasts and enlarging them is my preferred style. You're guaranteed to get the color match correct and most if not all of the shadows right. Big enough to be "realistic"--no Volkswagens.

Paint jobs just don't impress me, usually. You can see where the photo stops and the paint starts. Looks REALLY unattractive--sort of like the subject has a skin disease centered on her breasts. . . .

I like them all I am currently trying every thing i can and looking at some of my first ones (ive done about a dozen) REALLY make me wince   but iv'e had the best luck with enlarging pre existing breasts (this is due to my blasted software Very dificult to get the transplants color right)it is also one of the easier methods to master.

I like viewing Morphs with the realistic look to them although i also fo like the fantastic can-only-be fantasy types too as long as the fake look is for the most part unnoticeable.

it is not just a matter of size but also the weight of the breast as well. Has to be able to sink into the ribs. These critcal issue of both weight and size is what seperate the amateur from the pro. My goal is to push the envelope of realism to fantasy, when you know that it is not possible but think that you could live with it.
I have to admit I think "Bust artist" is the one guy that pushes the most and yet be plausible to have fantasy to screw the model that he makes.
mistakes that I see are bad shadow, large pixelation that dont match, bad paint job, and beachball type breast with no eveidence of gravity.
going thru the tutorial in the BEA I notice that the amount of work that goes into it is about the same when I use my 3D program to do BE.
I am curious as how long it takes for some of the pro BE artist take to do one model?
Pacman is the other notable artist in question. I bet these guy put much work into what they do.
I used to send in my work right after I think it is done but now I wait a couple of days and then make more minor changes and fix those little nuances that seem out of place.

I'm always drawn to a good donor morph, first. Mainly because, I have not been too successful at those types. It seems that you would need a huge library of poses to choose from -- something, until recently was not possible for me.

When morphing I use a combination of enlarging, painting, and cloneing. I do want to try SAMU's idea of shinking the head a little. That technique sounds very interesting!

I perfer enlarged boobs as opposed to painted ones.  And both fantasy sized and realistic sizes can have benefits.  Both are good as long as they are done skillfully and tastfully.  My fave, and a type ya rarely see cause of how hard it is to do, is when the subject in the picture, is interacting with her breasts (ie, grabbing them)

The one thing in a morph that REALLY sets it apart from the rest though, is a sense of how the breasts got to be large.  When the artist takes the time to write a short story line with the picture, or add a caption, or use the image to explain how the boobs got so big, that is the best hands down.  It adds to the picture and really shows the morphers creativity.

On the question of how much time goes into a morph, it ranges very widely. It can be anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 or 3 hours.

I have seperate folders called "quickies" (for morphs I know I can spit out quickly) and called "careful" (for new poses or pictures that deserve a lot of time put into them).

The better you get, the faster things go. Problem with that is the better you get, the more of a perfectionist you become and the more you want to push things just a tad further.

It seems that the vast majority of morphers, regardless of prefered technique, aim at verisimilitude, transparency; the impression that one is looking at an actual photograph albeit of a woman of totally improbable proportions. {In my own case, I go for this effect for the most banal of reasons: (1) it's easier when you know, more or less, where the finish line is, (2) it doesn't tax my limited creative energies too much.}  The problem, of course, is that the more improbable the proportions, the more difficult it is to be convincing.

That said, what really catches my eye is when a morpher says "the hell with realism, I'm not going to fool anyone" and whips up something fantastic.  I'm thinking (off the top of my head) about some of eDD's better stuff and also a guy named BB (don't know if he's still around) where the girls just seem to be exploding out of the frame.  It's hard not to get caught up in the sheer ebullience of the morph.  Fun stuff.

Hi you all!  I love all the stuff ya do!not to crazy bout the stuff that looks painted tho... My fav's are the ones with the girl on her back and the breast is overflowing over her arm, or laying on her side, say like on a couch/sofa, and breast's hanging down over the edge. I also like the ones with the darker areola, and large nips. My ultra favs are the natural saggy breasts, on a slender pretty gal, with tan bikini lines right around the areola,I have seen some great ones like that.Oh and the ones with the morphed penis's in the pictures are fun too.....lol would love to see one of those moving morphs, where the gal, moves just a bit, in her tiny bikini top, where the nipple pops out! ooooops!  heeee happens to me all the time! keep up the good work Ya'll are awsome! I love all a ya!

Thin waists, huge (usually gravity defying) breasts are what most of his morphs were.

There are so many good morphers who are no longer posting or just lurking if they even do that.

As to what i like? well hard to do morphs done well. Sometimes just real morphs with a girl who is not impossibly huge, other time i like the impossibly huge but above all a well done morph. No jaggies or terribly pixelated or off skintones etc..
