I did become a bit less interested in dolls, despite being able to get some models for fairly cheap, when I found out that they're quite short. I know they'd be very expensive and very heavy if they were more realistically sized, but I also feel like the dolls are designed to have a glamorous, statuesque look that just doesn't work at that height. It would make it very hard to look at her and feel like she's real, and that's much of the appeal. I can get a hole to fuck anywhere. I've gotten them for free buying my partner a dildo.
