Rhona Mitra's half-Irish, is more well-known for her portrayal of Lara Croft (and for her work on The Practice/Boston Legal)...and you're right, I'm surprised at that omission as well. As for Kiran Chetry, yes, she's half-Nepalese, but I believe that she's also half-Indian, and even if she isn't, Nepal's close enough to India to pass

Just saw "Slumdog Millionaire" -- and I'm wondering if we can see a little love for  Freida Pinto.  Okay, so I suspect her genealogy is from among the Portuguese to be found in the city of Mangalore -- but she's Mumbai-born.  If she's good enough for Dev Patel, she's definitely good enough for me.

I apologize in advance if I post duplicate pictures in any of the picture threads I deal in.  My MO in getting pictures of one girl is to rip her Instagram.  That ends up with me having up to 2000 pics of her.  I've tried almost half a dozen duplicate finder programs, and none of them find all of the duplicates I inevitably end up with.

I will try and get the derivation of her name -- it's probably a nickname, though. There was another actress who went by the name "Dimple" and there are quite a number who go by "Pinky" as well.
