New thought on an old question, one which perhaps Melonie Charm could comment on...?

What about Rio de Janeiro?  Any restrictions like the FDA?

It would be fab to be able to take a trip to RdJ with my fiancee, get her set up with strings, and also enjoy a bit of a popular tourist area.

I was recently looking for information on breast implants here in Brazil... and I ahven't found anything that says what's legal or not... I've found some sites (from plastic surgeons and magazines/newspapers) that says that a girl as old as 16 may get breast implants here... the here age is actually defined by body development (something like 5 or 6 years after first **110**)...

I never heard of any brazilian woman getting very large breast implants... There is this model, Cristina Mortágua, who recently got 365ccs (or something like that) and it was a big thing, since she is supposedly the woman with the largest breast implants in Brazil... it was a shock to a lot of people and something not very common to see...

Anyways... to go back in topic, I don't think there's a ban to polypropylene string implants here in Brazil (or in Rio de Janeiro, for that matter), but I'm not sure if there are any doctors here who works with those kinds of implants either...

Even tho we are really big in plastic surgery in general (Brazil being considered one of the best in PS), silicone breast implants only started to be common some 4-5 years ago... If anyone has 350cc, it's considered a lot... because of that, very big breast implants are not common... If you could find a doctor who could develop polypropylene technology here, then you'd be very lucky!

But if you'd like to come to Brazil, tourism alone is worth the trip!

PS: A quick translation to the image I posted: "Cristina Mortágua shows the largest breasts in Brazil at Sexy Magazine"

The loss of PPP is an unfortunate event.  My wife was one of the lucky ones to have PPP implants from Dr. Johnson.  She started out at 880 cc's total (630 cc's of string).  In the last 3 1/2 years she has grown to just over 2000 cc's total.  The expansions are not continuous.  She just went through a growth spurt in November/December, had to give a bunch of her shirts to the goodwill and go buy some new larger ones.  The way her breasts feel and what Melonie has told me, I don't think they're done yet.  Maybe the fact I squeeze them 3 to 5 times a day isn't helping that either!

*whimpers at Bill*

Wow, that just got me INCREDIBLY jealous...

About what size would that be? 850 vs 2000? (cup size I mean)
100% real woman, with notarized documents and witnesses to back this claim up.

I haven't measured her for quite some time (Sept 2002).  She was Bust: 42", back: 30", Chest 33 1/2".  This put her around a 36GG or 34HH.  Now she's probably a 36HH or 36II.

Chest is measured just under the arms.
Bust, well that should be pretty obvious.
Back is the measurement underneath the breast.  Add five inches and you have your bra size (if it's odd go up to even number.)

Aaahhh, I think I'm with you now.  I refer you to this link:

http://www.plussizebras.org/measure.html

So when you say chest, you mean abovebust (what some references call overbust), and when you say bust, you mean bustline, and when you say back, you mean underbust.  And the bit about adding 5" isn't universal (as described further down the page), although it is popular, even if considered inaccurate in some circles.  (Also see references for Dr. Pechter's technique for measuring.)

But in the case of your wife, these are minor quibbles.  I've no doubt that if you say she's an HH (or II or whatever she's at today), that she's fundamentally HUGE in the cups.  And that's what matters.

Now I'm curious:  What *do* they feel like?

Impressive.  Can't help but dwell on them.

And the other day, when I first showed your post to my fiancee, she was like, "*grumble* I hate them both".

Anyhoo, looking forward to more posts you might have on this.

Well here's the problem:  I really only have Google (and other search engines, I guess) to do searches.  And those searches will be in English.  So I would effectively be trying to find a PS in RdJ who advertises on the web in English.  I guess I could use Babelfish to help me get started, but quite frankly, if I can't carry on an e-mail dialogue in English, then an in-person consultation won't likely happen in English, either.  Which would leave us searching through language dictionaries (which are unlikely to have medical terminology) for the words.

I've studied French, German, Spanish, Chinese and Japanese, but I can't say I've ever studied Brazilian/Portuguese.  (My fiancee is fluent in Maori, but I don't think that'll help us here.)

I don't know how much of an imposition it would be if I were to ask you to check around for some PS's in RdJ who at the very least a) specialize in breast augmentation surgery, and b) speak at least a moderate level of English.  (I don't even know how far away from RdJ you are... I know that long distance charges suck, so....)

Thanks for any nuggets you can toss our way.

At present they each feel differently.  Up until lately they were both very firm almost to the point of being hard.  The right breast (which has always been about 150 cc's larger) has softened somewhat.  It is developing a "spungy" feel.  The left breast is still much harder.  The string itself can be felt in each breast.  It actually has a bumpy feel much like the feel of real breast tissue.

As I stated in an earlier post I'm trying to squeeze and massage them at least twice a day and sometimes as many as five times daily.  This irritates the tissue that is in contact with the string and is most likely causing them to fill with fluid more.  (The body views the string as a foreign object and attempts to insulate itself from the object by adding more fluid.)

While the right breast has softened in comparison to the left it is still very firm.  I take this to indicate it will at least expand enough to allow for a more softer feel.  The left one is still very firm and somewhat hard.  I expect it will continue to add fluid until it reaches a condition par with the other breast.  (If and when the right breast stops growing.)  Overall I am very pleased with the way they are.

My wife initially was a small B.  She had 450 cc's silicone implants, over the muscle, about 12 years ago.  This brought her up to a total volume of 600 cc's.  The string is a big improvement over the silicone.  First off for me they have grown.  I have always been a very big breast lover and even the DD's she had right after having the string implanted were too small for my taste.  (can or should I say that?)    They are now about where I have always wanted them to be.  I think 2500 cc's is a very good size for her.  When we met she was 5'3" and 115 lbs.  Her frame is not real large, so she looks very big.  (Big enough there's no way to really hide their size, even wearing multiple layers of clothes.)  She has several tight stretchy shirts that make them look humongous.  (I don't have any photos right now to show.)  I can tell you they appear about the same size as Vixen's, but they are a different shape.  Vixen's boobs appear to be very round.  My wife's look (I think) more natural.

You lucky dog!

You are in good company, here! We mostly feel the same way, I think. You are very fortunate too... most of us don't live with a living morph. I am intrigued and interested in all of your comments and look forward to more posts...

I am wondering how you heard of Dr. Johnson's string implants and how you both came to the decision to try that method. Or try any implants, for that matter...

The decision to have implants started with her older sister.  She was unhappy with her size and had implants, though nothing that makes them look larger than average.  My wife had always been dissatisfied with the size of her breasts and decided to have them changed.

We decided to change again from silicone because of the possibility of a rupture.  I had learned of the string by emailing with Mel.  She, as she is today, was knowledgable and very willing to help.  After discussing the matter for several months we decided to change.  She really had two issues influencing her decision: we wanted to eliminate any chance of rutpure, and she had some capsular contraction and implant misplacement that made us unhappy with their appearance.

After learning a lot from Mel, I contacted Dr. Johnson.  It was an expensive trip (we live on the west coast), but I felt it was worth the money.

I don't have any complaints for concerns with these.  Initially I had hoped she had gone bigger; now with their growth I'm glad she didn't.  I'm sure her final size would have been way too big for her.
